Although the good is usually really good. These last times we've gone they've taken close to an hour when they only had 2 vehicles in front of us. And when they gave us our food it was all cold and soggy. They gave us a $2 discount because they realized they had just left our order outside. But $2 doesn't make up for waiting close to an hour and then for our botana to taste disgusting all the chips were soggy and the fajita and beans were cold to the touch. Enough where you could see the grease getting white on top of the fajita. We've had the same issue of food taking forever even foe breakfast hours. It usually taste good, but do not recommend it based on how long they take. However, the other Don Felipe's closer to Conway on 5 Mile line they take your order, and food is always freshly made and it doesn't take forever.
This place used to have the best tacos the best papas and now the food is all cold very little meat in the tacos the papas are smaller and cold and the beans are cold too.
Let's start with , it is very hot in south Texas in July . The restaurant is a quaint little taqueria , with indoor and outdoor seating . We opted for the indoor so we could stay cooler . Well , it was a ' little better ' .The place was busy for lunch , there are about 15 tables of 4 inside and all but 3 were occupied . Nobody outside .So we placed our order and received our drinks and sat and chit-chated . We noticed the crowd thinning until it was just us . At the 45 minute mark of waiting for tacos , we got up and asked for our bill and told them to forget the food .They were extremely apologetic and said the food was ready and it actually was . A mistake not to inform us of a delay . Anyway , we got our food and disappointingly began to eat , everyone was quiet until we looked up at each other . We were all nodding in approval . The food was delicious , and the server checked on us frequently . Even brought us a signature GIANT stuffed baked potato , " on the house " .We all agreed that it was well worth the wait , first time there for all of us . I recommend the tacos with fried tortillas , yum !!
Excellent choice for tacos in the area. Still not overpriced and plenty stuffed.
They literally took 30 minutes for salsa that we ordered thru phone an hour prior to picking it up !!
Every time we come here their has been good serive staff always alert at what we needed..... We will be comoing back for more very good service.....
They charge 18.75 for a small plate of panchos! That's insane but okay fine , they proceed to get my order wrong and the manager was refusing to give me my money back said they couldn't return my money because it's bit their fault I "ordered my food wrong" so after alot of rudeness and back and forth I was thrown my money on the floor and told to leave by the cashier/manager
Boycotting this place. The owner serves old food. Mistreats his employees, and doesn't pay them well. I believe he is currently under investigation for employee fraud. Not to mention the cockroach I found at the bottom of my baked potato, cooked. Found out he doesn't like paying for fumigation. Unsanitary, and unsafe working and eating conditions.
Worst place to grab tacos. Food was cold plus I was missing half my ordered. Waited 40 minutes and they still got the order wrong. Save your money and go somewhere else
Will never eat here again. Everything Took to long. Don't recommend. Only got 1 star cause the lemonade was good.
