Flavor is good but the wait is not worth it.I have tried the drive through a few times and it's always very slow.. But today it was really bad! I should have picked up the red flag, when the car in front of me got out of the way....when it was my turn at the window, the 2 ladies inside were talking and laughing on their phone. Then proceeded to count coins from the tip jar but never did come close to approach the window

Birria tacos were okay but not worth the price I paid...got soft tacos since crispy and w/ cheese are both extra ? They had accidentally gave me beans on the side aswell instead of the consome ... but tbh the beans were pretty great..probably the only thing that saved my meal experience ? other than that everything was clean, staff was friendly..
To start the service was not good. I went to look for a table to set my purse & the girl was like "if your gonna order is over their". If I walked into your restaurant then yes I'm gonna order, you're not in a good court. 2nd is expensive & not worth the money #sorrynotsorry. Then the girl places our order & apparently has to remind the cook that my tacos were with cheese, needless to say they had very little cheetomato. girls then says that she'll bring me the consome for my Birria tacos. So I'm their waiting y nada... I finally was able to make eye contact with the girl & she tells the cook "me regala un consome" 3 mins later I get my consume... Then a regular order of fajita tacos was brought... the tacos looked ugh. not appetizing at all, real expensive for just one tortilla. also the beans were no good. The red salsa was puro tomate. Overall, I would definitely not recommend this place to anyone that I know. The hype was too much. Whoever said this place is delicious has definitely never eaten good food. ISWIS #zerostars
Really good food, just don’t expect to get it quickly or get the correct order/all your stuff. Very frustrating.
8.21 for 1 guisado and 1 fajita taco, thought they were going to be good size, not even close, won't go back, not recommend
My friends and I decided to pitch in on a Fajita Taco Platter from Papa Taco. The place is located on the southwest corner of Taylor Rd and 495 in Mission TX. I placed my order on the phone but you have to pay first before they make it, alot of places to this. I was told by the person that took my order that the platter came with 20 street size tacos ( small corn tortillas). Also, she said that there would be Nachos and Guacamole in the center of the platter, a side of Charro Beans, and two types of Salsas. Sounded Great! I was super looking forward to trying the frejoles. Believe it or not, there are many Mexican restaurants in the RGV but not all of them make really good beans. You would think that something as basic as making beans would be easy to get right, but sad to say it doesn't happen. Anyways I picked up the pizza box of tacos with the Beans and Salsas on the side and headed home, I get there place the box on the table and everyone starts digging in. Let me say that the Tacos we're on point, the Fajita was tender, the Cilantro on top fresh as can be. The Beans we're some of the best Beans Iv had in a long time, really good, Cooked with bacon and the broth had areal balanced flavor again I just have to rave about them. The Salsas were very good but I would have liked to have had one a bit more spicy. The platter was 37 dollars and well worth it and I would easily buy another one and recommend you do too.

I will say that the strength of this restaurant seems to be Tacos, i ordered the huevos rancheros and they were okay.For $6.99 you get 2 eggs, potatoes and refried beans (the bacon was extra).The eggs were ordered over medium but i got them both over cooked little or no runny yolk, the salsa was a bit spicy didn't taste bad but i would like to see some onions on it it will really increase the flavor if they did, the potatoes were hot slightly crispy but not seasoned, the refried beans were actually pretty good i liked the taste of them, the bacon was also very tasty slightly crispy.The corn tortillas was good i liked the taste of it, they toasted my flour tortilla it was hard.Overall an okay place for breakfast, the huevos rancheros were overpriced for not having bacon included.
