First time trying this place, staff was friendly place was clean. For starters they brought us chips, salsa and a bit of fish ceviche along with a small cup fish soup. Fish soup could of used more flavor. My dish was more than enough for two to share. Fish and shrimp was fried perfect, came with fries, salad stuff shrimp which was okay. Also had a side of meat which was okay as well.
They charge a 15% surcharge after five dishes on a to go order. They do not want to give me a refund even though I cancelled the order. The surcharge is not posted anywhere on the menu or restaurant!!! I cancelled the order got no receipt or refund and you need to post the surcharge i wanted a to go order it was not dine in plus that’s quite a difference from 3.5% to 15% I was there by myself not with five other people. Who keeps the 15%?
This Mexican restaurant in Mission Texas specializes in seafood. The menu is all in Spanish but the difficulty of communicating your preferences is well worth the challenge. Our waitress had a modest English vocabulary and directed us to the part of the menu that had filletes. One combination plate for $21.99 would easily feed 2 people so we ordered that. We were not disappointed. We substituted a vegetable side for the French fries but got the fries included anyway. The 2 fillets were large, grilled white fish that had a great texture and mild garlic flavor with my generous squirt of lime. We also had 6 medium size shrimp which were nice but not quite what you would expect if you were on SPI at Joe's Oyster Bar or Dirty Al's.Nobody goes away hungry from Mariscos. Chips, salsa with a whole range of sauces, salad and rice with a stack of tortias rounded out the meal. We ate everything except the tortias. We took them home for a taco meal that we will have today with our own fixings.
I like this restaurant because they offer grilled fish n shrimp n a very tasty comlementry seafood soup.

Service was horrible this evening. It was not very busy, plenty of waitresses and even like that failed to check up on us. They brought part of the order and completely forgot the rest. We ended up having to take one of the meals home. Definitely not coming back!
I found my new go to place for Mariscos! We especially love the ceviche #2 special with fish soup! Best ceviche in the Valley. The food is FRESH and the restaurant is clean. Dalia brought some chips, salsa and ceviche while I waited for my order, that's the customer service and hospitality you'll get here. I definitely recommend to everyone, Mariscos El 7 Mares in Mission.

They bring out salsa, chips and some type of ceviche while you order. The ceviche was so good. I loved the freshness and taste. The service was great. I ate shrimp in salsa, that was delicious also. I enjoyed the ambiance and the restaurant was very clean.
