The staff are friendly and helpful and the hotel quiet, but the hotel has seen better days. The room I stayed in was missing a dresser drawer and the shower vanity is coming apart. There were repairs made to the shower ceiling that are obvious, low quality workmanship. If traveling alone for work I would stay here again but I would not come with family.
This hotel was my first stop on my relocation back to California. The bellman who was working the desk should be promoted. He was helpful in every way possible from assisting with the large amount of luggage I had to assisting the engineer replace a non- working TV. I wish I could hire him at my new job!
Great service decent prices
Was not sure if this area would be nice, but to our surprise it is! A couple places to eat surround the hotel and sit not far from a mían street and highway. I would recommend this hotel. However we did miss not having a microwave in the room, but no big deal you should survive.
Ants in my room, lamp inoperable, peeling wallpaper, rusted tub, dirty dishes left in hallways for over 12 hours, exposed access panel and no response from GM. I have requested a call two times to discuss but no response.
Was in midland for a basketball tournament stayed at the Doubletree Hotel and was amazed at the level of service and professionalism of the staff Sarah and Adam are the best and the Valet Mr Robert is awesome too definitely recommend this hotel and will stay there whenever I visit midland Texas again
The bed and bedding was wonderful. It really did feel like sleeping in a cloud. The contactless and keyless entry worked perfectly from the app. I was very pleased with my stay. Some items looked a little like they were ready for an update or repair in the bathroom.
Awesome atmosphere and friendly staff
An old, tired, HIlton property. Faint smell of cigarettes in the elevators. Mediocre food in the restaurant. Situated close to railroad tracks and overnight noise is an issue. Central location is a plus. But not nearly enough to overcome its negatives. I'll never stay there again.
