Salad was good southwest chicken & avocado! Atmosphere was good, not too busy for a Sunday afternoon. This was my second visit in about a week and I got the same Sorry service from Leslie. No greeting, smile or Pleasant attitude. Seemed very unhappy and thought she was just having a bad day, however my second visit was worse. If she’s not happy with her job, perhaps she needs a change. Her customer service is lacking tremendously. Manager was accommodating and brought me my food and the extra avocado I asked for. Other team members were pleasant and helpful, clean space. Will return however the first face their guests see is important and they should at least have a good attitude and nice to customers. At least make customers feel welcome and realize we pay your wage. And prices are increasing so at least say thank you for buying my $13 salad!
Worst service I have received at 4425 Wadley midland, TX. Had to ask for fork, napkins, crackers and spoon for my to go meal. Look at my salad tell me if that even looks like a savannah chopped salad. Went back asked for cucumber and spring mix and dressing they are looking at me like I don’t know what I’m talking about. Said we don’t have any, would been nice to know prior to ordering makes no sense. Didn’t try to accommodate, not helpful at all won’t be returning don’t go.
I couldn’t have had more of an opposite experience than some of the other reviewers!I walked in right after they opened today trying to catch them at their worst- but I’ve never seen a restaurant more at it’s best!!!The store is CLEEEAAANNNN. The kid cleaning and greeting in the lobby is first class.The lady taking my order was so fast and courteous it HUURRTT!They have a very pretty head cook that was slinging pieces of art called sammiches left and right!!She made me a half French dip sammich and a cup of cheddar broccoli soup. And it was an OOUUTTTSSTTTANDING early lunch!!!!!The manager was nice… the other people working there were nice. It was great!They definitely are not understaffed for a Sunday rush.I’ll definitely be back!!!
I never like to leave bad reviews. But I tried calling them and they don’t pick up their phone. I don’t know what that is but it was in my McAlister’s club wrap ?
Love the soups. Staff is friendly and helpful. Service is a little slow but not terrible. Clean seating area.
Pickup orders are almost always made incorrectly, and it’s incredibly frustrating to get home with something you hate. The simplest of orders are often botched, and the service usually doesn’t make up for it.
I thought I would give them another try after they did their renovations. It is still not any better. I ordered a grilled chicken sandwich and they gave me chicken salad sandwich. I called and they hung up on me. I called back and for the life of them they couldn't get it straight. I had to talk to 3 different people before someone knew what to do. Won't be eating there once again.
I ordered the club… half of the sandwich was missing. I received the bread on the missing half, 1 small slice of meat, but the rotators, lettuce, etc, was not even there. Where was the second half??? Then part of the toothpick broke off on the “better” half and was inside the sandwich. My husband ordered the sweet chipotle sandwich and found avocado in his, which was not supposed to be there. It looked like they recycled the chicken from another sandwich and threw it in there. Needless to say we waisted $48 on food we couldn’t even eat. It’s a sandwich… not rocket science.
This place has really gone down hill. Even after their remodel and supposed restructure, customer service continues to be less than desirable, and they repeatedly leave stuff off my order. I am keeping tabs, and so far I've been charged $28.55 for food/drinks not received. They're not ever that busy, but refuse to answer their phones. All the workers behind the counter care more about the gossip of who's seeing who rather than delivering quality services and food.
Why does it take 30+ minutes to get a single sandwich dawg?? It's not even busy... Like I could legit drive all the way across town to the only other McAlister's location in Midland, place an order, and STILL get it sooner than this.
