It was our first visit to this restaurant, Saturday before Father's day. It's a nice atmosphere, Jeremy was very attentive as we had some questions about the steaks. I was honestly surprised, I mean the tea was delish (raspberry) the steaks were just perfectly done as we ordered, and the sides were yummy. Only complaint, we didn't have space for dessert and it looks like they serve this amazing chocolate cake with ice cream, we'll get it next time.Five stars!!
Unexpectedly great New York strip! I never imagined they could pack that much flavor into a New York strip. It tends to be one of my favorite cuts because I like a leaner cut of meat but I also understand it comes with a little less flavor than say a bone-in, ribeye etc. Not here! My goodness it was literally a shock to the taste buds. I was slightly distracted from playing on my phone (as I was eating alone) when I took my first bite, it got my attention. At first I wasn't even sure I liked it as I wasn't expecting it, as my brain took a sec to process it I realized this was amazing, so much flavor. Not to mention I usually avoid any fatty or grisly parts of steak but this was so well cooked, I picked medium by the way, every oz was devoured. The steak was so good I'm not going to knock them for it but the dinner bread that comes complimentary was not my favorite, I ate it all as I'm a fatty but the butter was cold making it near impossible to spread and the bread was kind of dry and not really warm enough to melt the butter, but that's okay, that's not what you come here for. On a side note the service was tip top, and while this was my first time ordering the New York strip, or any steak from here believe it or not, I have come to love their asparagus. I just happen to love asparagus in general and theirs doesn't disappoint. It's so good I got two separate side orders. It's cooked perfectly and it's not that sad skinny, flimsy stuff some restaurants try and pass off and charge too much for, I would literally come here just for the asparagus, and I guess I can add the New York strip to that order. Oh I did get the mashed potatoes for my side and it wasn't terrible, could have come to the table a bit warmer for my preference and nothing to write home about but not terrible. But again the steak gets this 5 star review, kudos to the chef, I was really caught off guard and blown away.
They were not detail oriented at all. My order was incorrect, which I told her immediately before she left the table. It took probably another 15-20 min for them to bring me the correct food. Then we ordered dessert and they brought something out on one big plate, not sure what that was about, she immediately took it away. And then our actual waiter brought out the correct desserts.We were also sitting right by the doors, they lost several customers due to lack of customer service. Our dinner was not worth the money paid.
I will never visit this restaurant again. Apparently they have a new policy that will not allow more than 6 people to sit at a table, but they do not inform you of the policy until they are already sitting your party. We had 7 in our party.We waited an hour to be seated after being told it was just a 30 minute wait. When they sat us down they told us of said policy. We asked our waitress if we could move so we could all sit together and she said yes. Then the manager came over to us and told us the waitress said we moved on our own. The manager told us she would let us do it this time, but repeated their new policy to us again. We told the manager that we should had been told we couldn’t all sit together when we put on name down not an hour after waiting. This is not a mandated policy. It’s LongHorn’s own policy. My family frequent this place, but not anymore.
First time here and we were very impressed with the quality of service. Our server (Markel, I'm so sorry if I botched that) was great. There wasn't a long wait for food which was nice as they were pretty busy. My husband had an issue with his steak, Markel fixed it immediately and made sure we were 100% happy, which is so nice as not every server cares like that. Our appetizer came quickly and was delicious. Very happy overall and will be back!

This is one of the very best Midland has to offer. Great food at reasonable prices. Atmosphere is quiet and service is always good. We have taken family and business associates here and it has yet to disappoint anyone in the party.
Waited 45 minutes for a table. We came in early before it would be busy. Then someone took our table. We finally order and get our food. Steak was rare when it should’ve been medium, also my wife’s was medium well when it was supposed to be medium. Sent mine back and still came back rare. Shrimp came out cold. To top it off it was our anniversary dinner. Waitress was amazing but the cooks in the back need to step it up and do a better job! I left without eating dinner! DO BETTER!!!
Food was excellent. Took over an hour to get our entrée. Watched many tables that sat 10-30 minutes after us come and go. If it wasn't for the good being great, would have definitely rated 1 or 2 stars
Had the chicken friend steak and it was super over-burned and very slow service. Salads came before the tea and water, the entree came before the appetizer. Had a bad experience back in 2018 and I guess we gave them another chance to disappoint us.
