We are regulars here and while the food is always good, the service is consistently lacking. We just tried to eat dinner there and watched the wait staff take drink orders for people that came in after us, AFTER sitting there for 10 minutes and waiting. I’m super disappointed as we love this place, but guess we’ll have to scratch it off the list.

Visited Hayashi for the first time yesterday for lunch. I had some sushi and shrimp noodles and both were very good. My server was pretty good, though distracted. Overall I would have been impressed and given a 5 star rating, except that as I was leaving I saw a small sign on the door that I had missed when I came in or I wouldn’t have eaten there at all. The signs is not an official posting, so I’m not sure of its legality, but it bans all weapons. Whether it’s legally binding or not, I will not be returning.
It took them 30mins to seat us the service was terrible we payed $8 for a glass of tea that only got refilled once snd we asked multiple times for refill. we had to go to the kitchen to get ell sauce and several appetizers we had waited almost 30 minutes for.. we ordered rare stake and got well done. This is my husband's favorite place at once but now they've are it a nightmare and add to the fact it was $170 and they would not even come get the card. Nothing had any flavor . I had to ask a million people for everything states was awful. And we told everyone every problem. Veggies were 80%onion. No mushroom. They offer us 20 % of next time. I am so disappointed. It wasn't even worth 70$ at all. And I proved and showed that with their own services and food quality. The alcoholic beverages were incorrect and had to tell them maybe 4 times how to fix it or how it was wrong and all the ways it was wrong. We won't be back for a while. And 180$ was not at all near the value of the service or food. And I feel like the Manger should have done more to fix it.
In town doing a job for Black Rifle Coffee. Was seated & asked to wait bc they don't do hibachi for a single unless they wait 15 mins. After 5 mins I was approached & told I can sit at the bar or leave they would NOT serve me hibachi bc I'm alone. I didn't get to wait 15 mins as instructed by the original honestess. Then I got the stink eye, foul attitude, & eye rolls for asking about the original info I was given. I just wanted a meal, if that wasn't an option they could have told me from the get go. Repulsive treatment, will never give them one of my dollars. Crazy they allow their mouthy servers to treat people like that SMH.
Was great food, great service and entertaining !
The good was good, but the service was terrible. They had two cooks for eight grills. We waited 45 minutes after being seated. The waitress was terrible on taking empty plates and refilling drinks. Every other time it was fine.
Food was delicious and our chef was the best‼️ Service was wonderful also‼️
Great service, fantastic food! Our kids had such a great time and actually ate most of their food!
