I never had been here and didn’t know what to order the lady’s helped me out so much the iced coffee was amazing had cinnamon in it and was quite delightful
Today I went to one of the better coffee places in Midland again. The Hand Cafe. I don’t live super far away so this is a semi-regular spot for me.I guess it’s bad on me for just now getting around to reviewing it!The coffee and food is first class. I enjoy the crepes and bagels there. The Hand has a nice little assortment on the menu that should enable everyone to find something they like.I enjoy the Hand for the atmosphere mostly. I am not sure you will find a better atmosphere for relaxing and focusing on a book or work on your laptop, than at this cafe. The staff is super doooper friendly. And they gave me a free t-shirt today which was really unexpected and cool.I really dig their message of peace and happiness that comes across with their decor and staff personalities.Try them out! They have a giant slide too… which I’ve never actually seen anyone slide down.
Super lunch from this place. Picked up, but noticed a pretty nice play area while in there. Haven't tried the coffee yet, but after the gyros (falafel and regular), salads, matcha, and brownie bites we had, I will be back and I look forward to trying it. Highly recommend!
We were excited to try this place with our son because reviews indicated it was a more family friend place and we like supporting locally owned businesses. While ordering our small toddler knocked over glass mugs located on a shelf a foot off the ground which resulted in 3 broken glass mugs. Employees weren’t very helpful in cleaning it up- I did most of it myself. I felt the attitude towards us was pretty rude, especially since we were extremely apologetic, these $20 mugs were a foot off the ground, and my husband paid them the $60 for the broken merchandise. Frankly, I’m certain those mugs wouldn’t have ever been purchased for $20 each. We decided to get our order to go because of the employees’ attitudes towards us. Upon arriving home to eat, our order was incorrect and we were missing items we paid for. To be fair the food and the coffee were good. We will not be returning.
Great place to get some good drip coffee & a large snack I should say! I ordered the veggie flat bread pizza & let me tell you…DELICIOUS. It came with a side salad and I got the balsamic dressing which paired very nicely with it. I also ordered the soup of the day which they unfortunately did not have but the staff member called me right away and asked what I would like to substitute for it. I instead chose a chocolate chip muffin but the taste was a little off for me (which is why this isn’t 5 stars) but I work in a restaurant so I know sometimes not all same items will taste like we are used to tasting! It has indoor & outdoor seating but usually I take my food to-go. Definitely worth going always though! Also to add in, the place is very artsy which is one of my favorite thing about the place as well. You see art and such good interior design in the inside!
We ordered this as we left town to go home. We ordered a bagel sandwich no cheese - when we received it had 2 slices of cheese on it. I’m lactose intolerant so I can’t eat this now- the cheese won’t come off. We ordered a fruit cup - the apples and bananas were brown. The muffin was not warmed or toasted as requested. We also did curbside pickup but there were no allocated spots to park in (as instructed in the email confirmation) and no one answered the phone when we called. We wanted to support small business instead of Starbucks but we regret it now. This place is better than nothing but only just.
Love the mocha coffee! It's a small beautiful place with good breakfast or lunch options. Haven't had the chance to try their food menu, but I will return!
Showed up and they were supposed to be open and they are there but no one comes to the door it’s 7:30. A guy getting coffee let me in and the staff was completely rude to me. They say the doors lock automatically so they are open and they don’t have anyone watching for customers. Staff was completely rude when I kindly asked what time they open. I would understand if they were busy but no customers can get in so don’t understand the rudeness or why customers are not being let in. Another customer walked up as I got in my car and he couldn’t get it so he left, all the staff was in the very back kitchen no one concerned about locked doors.
Hand Cafe Crepes are the best. Highly recommend the Nutella Crepe with Bananas and Strawberries. Also fantastic, is their artisan grilled cheese and Tomato Basil soup. Sooo Good especially during the cold days we've been having. There is something about their soup and grilled cheese that can make your world feel right again. It really is that good. Should be an everyday menu item; Just saying! The servers are warm and friendly. You will be in good hands.
