Cute place that smells like a shop from Strawberry Shortcake Land! I got a triple mini scoop waffle bowl, Calichi, Sand Storm and Ranch Road with Caramel Sauce and Peanuts! Oh my, and Dr. Pepper! Thanks so much, I'll definitely be back!
Be careful to double check what they are charging you for before you pay. They don't review it at the register, they just enter what they want and then have you pay. The lady at register today charged me for 2 extra scoops of ice cream I never ordered or received. Very upset and thoroughly disappointed when the email of my receipt finally came through, but I wasn't at the location anymore.
You had a narrow aisle you had to walk through to get to the ice cream. But that I owe was blocked by a trash can and a broom cleaning acrossed it. Then when you get to the ice cream there are only six flavors. So I ordered my ice cream and a waffle cup and they gave it to me on a coffee filter. Coffee filters are not very sturdy nor absorbent. My boyfriend got two scoops of ice cream in a bowl. Not a Waffle Bowl but it was a very small boat that usually be used for fries or something. Needless to say it was not sturdy enough to hold the ice cream. Very flimsy. It made the whole thing very messy. I couldn't figure out if they had just opened up for business recently or if they're just really bad at business I had really hoped this was a neat place in fact we had seen it Monday when it was closed and made plans to go back the following day. We were very disappointed
We are travelers we have stopped at several ice cream places around the country. This place did not impress us at all. Looked like it was going out of business. No adds up on the boards. Stuff laying all over and I mean stuff.The two young ladies were more interested in what they were doing rather than waiting on customers. When you enter you go through a maze. They put a trash can and broom in the middle had to step over them. They use a french fri tray as their bowl/cup hard to hold without getting fingers in the icream. The sign states soda fountain. What soda fountain? Lack of flavors had 7 or so in the case. We stopped at Marble Slab the day before and had a much better experience. The choice is yours.
Unique ice cream made in store, so you won't find it anywhere else. I really liked the ice cream, it actually seemed less sweet than most ice cream somehow. We went back the next day for fudge. Their fudge selection was great but it seemed kind of bland compared to other fudge I've had. They are great with samples though so you can try it beforehand and see for yourself. Overall a great ice cream shop, worth a stop!
Staff was absolutely sweet and patient with my indecisive self. Ice cream was greatA totally recommend the butter finger ice cream! Love the vibes and feels I get from this place. 10 out of 10 will be going back!
Very interesting ice cream store...all made from scratch. Well managed, and well thought out. A very good experience.
My husband and I went here for a date night last week and have already been back for round two with guests! I got the black gold flavor both times because it's the best! It's light and delicious, plus, it's "feels like Midland". The atmosphere is fun with games at the table and great music playing. You should definitely go. And then go again. We plan on going back to try other flavours and their fudge because it looks so yummy!!
Ice cream was really good, customized it myself. El chubra canes ice cream, strawberry sauce, marshmallow cream, bananas, and graham crackers. Was very good.
