Great vegan menu, friendly service!
Still the best bbq in town hands down. Don’t take my word just come get you some good food. The renovation gives extra room to dine in and the place is nice.
I wanted to like this place. I really did. But it didn’t happen. Poor service, hectic at best. They weren’t busy at all and still managed to delay my order. And then didn’t even get it right. One order was in front of me and they received their food in 5 minutes. Mine took 20. And it wasn’t like it had to be cooked on the spot. Ribs, sausage and some beans and mac and cheese. Crazy.The prices are outrageous for the amount and quality of food you receive. $2 for a can of soda?!?! That’s a 300% markup.The ribs were under cooked and chewy. The sausage was tasteless. The baked beans had the taste of the tin can they came out of. The shining spot (and only reason Brown’s got two stars instead of one) was the mac and cheese. Some of the best I’ve ever had. But I’m not in the habit of paying $24 for bad service, limp barbecue and great mac and cheese.Hard pass.
Wow ! The Vegan menu is as good as any I’ve ever seen! And my husband LOVED the barbecue. And the nicest owners. On our way home from Big Bend - wish we had one of these closer to home - we will be back.

I tried this place for the first time today. It was very good. I ordered the two meat with two sides. Brisket & Chicken with bakes beans and mixed vegetables ?. The meat was very tender and the sides were flavourful. I will definitely be coming back. Plus the owner introduced me to vegan tacos. They cook vegan entrèes as well. The tacos tasted excellent. I recommend this restaurant.
Get Around Brown delivers everytime. Brisket is tender, BBQ sauce is amazing. Bacon wrapped asparagus is off the chart. We have been following him for years and his new seating area is fun. Great staff. Real flame grilled burgers.
Came in from Houston and needed a place to eat. Found this gem and had it twice over the weekend. The food was flavorful and one of the few places that had turkey legs! Tried pretty much everything on the menu and have zero complaints. Would stop in again ever if I drop into midland again.Also the people were super friendly and the cook came out and we talked.
My husband is Omni and I’m vegan. Turns out the owners have been vegan themselves recently (for 2 and 7 years). They have an entire vegan menu and the chef is so fun and friendly! He even sent me home with some vegan BBQ sauce which was ❤️?❤️?❤️? I also had the veg gardein fajitas and my daughter’s tator tots were really great too. Highly recommend!!
Hands down amazing bbq!!! And the Mac and queso is a must,it's made to order and everything is hot and ready for you to dig in. Brisket is tender and moist, and the ribs are finger licking good. Now lets talk about the customer service.. they are amazing and so sweet!!! Lots of laughs from the kitchen and staff, they welcome you like family. My son fell in love with the house bbq sauce. This place is a must!!!
