We normally have a great experience here, but not this time. I work graveyard shift and usually our visits here (no matter the time of day) are great. This last visit was very disappointing. The restaurant had no customers before us in drive thru and when we paid at the window they didn't inform us that it'd be a long wait. They just took our money and closed the door. We didn't get our drinks and had to wait. We tried knocking on the window and blowing the horn and it took someone forever to come to the window. By that time they were getting more customers behind us in the drive thru line. They finally gave us our food and then when they closed the window back my husband had to try getting their attention again. There were 5 cups sitting on the counter full of drinks. When someone came to the window again my husband had to remind the person that they never gave us our drinks!! And the person grabbed 2 of the drinks that had been sitting on the counter for about 10mins.... very disappointing because our ice had melted and the sides of the cups were damp with perspiration. Then when I opened my chicken strip box the large fries that I had ordered were all tumbled over into the box and once I put them all back in, the fries didn't even fill up the little fries box. The fries and strips were also very hard and I had to throw several fries away because I just couldn't chew them. I'm not sure if the staff was having a rough night, but I was very disappointed in the service.
We are always missing food and our order is never correct. We don't normally go to this one bc of this reason. I would recommend the one on Galloway.
Would give zero if I could. They’ve messed up two separate orders for my family in the last three days. I won’t be going back to this one very sloppy. No one wants to waste gas to go back for something the restaurant messed up. The second time around today they forgot bacon on a bacon burger and we went there again solely to get our previous order fixed but we decided to order again anyway. Very dissatisfied and disappointed. Need better quality procedures to ensure stuff like this doesn’t get missed CONSTANTLY.
I would give this particular restaurant a minus no stars if I could. I love their food, but the service is really bad. It’s just a bunch of kids that work there. Like one person’s review said to be prepared to wait for 15 min. This is true, when they are busy. But when they are not so busy you shouldn’t have to wait 15 min to pick up an online order!!! I will never go back!
Their service when I walk in, never fails. They always get my order right and provide me with anything else I may need like an extra ketchup, ECT.Now the drive thru or order online, USUALLY does get done correctly. However, they do tend to make a few mistakes on orders or forget things if they are busy. So if its late and you're trying to order when there is a long line or it is busy in general, DOUBLE CHECK your items and decide if you are willing to wait for a correction. Sometimes they take another 15-20 minutes to "fix" the issue if its something complicated like remaking a sandwich with the correct ingredients you asked for. (Now I'm not saying it should be faster, I'm just saying that I don't know the complexity of their kitchen. It MAY BE that those 15 minutes is exactly what it takes to do something the way I specifically want!)
The food isnt necessarily cold, but it could be warmer. Prepare to sit in the Drive through for sometimes 15+ minutes. I think that's only cause they're probably understaffed. Foods still decent and they don't leave any items out usually.
Tonight I went to this whataburger and the young lady at the window handing out ordersat 8:10 pm and taking payments had the most ugliest attitude there is. She asked if I had a certain big order and when I said no that wasn't me. She yelled at me and said "Well what did you have then"I'm guessing the manager on the clock ended up taking over to put in my order. But that young lady was so rude and shouldn't be talking to customers with an attitude. I'm highly offended and upset that I got that sort of treatment from a mistake that was on their part to begin with.
Step in and place my order. Didn't get what I ask for. Then I was ask multiple times what I ordered and repeated it. It was still made wrong. My opinion is that it moves way too fast. And knowing what I've seen and experience no one communicated with one another on orders. And we visit this place quite often and place big orders some nights. Everyone one was just moving around each other. One person takes order then steps off and comes back then steps away again not knowing what the person had ordered. Just to much of what I call jumping around. Just my opinion from what I've seen.
Not sure why it’s 24 hours if the overnight crew cannot accommodate for the night shift.They always seem to be “out of chicken tenders” and the drive thru person was rude when I asked for it talking about “Nope, can’t help you there” Like she was relieved to be letting me down and even though I have only been courteous and respectful whenever I’ve gone.
Only thing consistent is disappointment idk how at any time of day they will always mess something up. The only reason I come is because I love whataburger more then I hate how much they mess up orders
