Enjoy coming here. I love the openness feel of the restaurant. Everyone from customers to employees are very friendly. I world of given 5 stars if it wasn't for the consistent chilling experience I have here. The A/C feels great, but the ceiling fans over do it!!!! I forget that I need to take my food to go versus eating here! Yeah, my food gets cold quickly!!! I enjoy eating my marbelized brisket soft, not cold and hard ya'll. But the Mac & cheese was great! ?????? Thank you for being open on the 4th.
Came to celebrate Father's day here since my dad loved coming here but it's been a few years since he has came to have dinner here. The ribs where hard not soft at all they look like it's been cooked from 3 days ago, it looks in the pictures but honey we just took it all and gave it to a homeless so it won't go to trash. But thinks twice before coming the food is not delicious like it used to be
I don’t understand how this place has 4 stars and none of the bad reviews are about how disgusting it is!! First, when you walk in there’s sooooo much trash on the floor. Then the employees give you your sides in dirty bowls, their hair isn’t in nets and not even fully tied up, and to top it off the cups they leave out there for drinks are all dirty. We had to leave our 5 trays there full of food because I couldn’t bare to even think about eating there. First and last time coming here!!!!!
My last visit I was not pleased when I got home my sandwich brisket was hard and overcooked. It took awhile to prepare my order only because I ordered french fries, that they gave to a dine-in guest that came in after me and another guess received their to go order before mines, I had to go and asked about my order, I think they forgot about my order
My first visit post-Covid had these results:Prices have soared to unacceptable levelNo more veggie refillsVeggies are limited to 2 and handed to you in a small container rather than allowing customer to get their ownHad to wait 15-20 minutes for dinner rolls to arrive at our table resulting in cold foodAfter arriving home, saw that our party had been overchargedI wrote a letter to the owner/manager about all the above, and asked for the amount of the overcharge to be sent to me. 2 months later and haven't heard squat. Suffice it to say I will never go back.

I hate to see food wasted when so many people are hungry. The young lady gave me a corn with my to go order. It was wrapped in foil. I asked her to change it for potatoes. She picked up the corn and threw it in the trash, then proceeded to get my side. Had I known she was going to do that, I would've kelp it instead of potatoes. I felt she could've waited or left it.
Went with my family for a birthday dinner and things are mostly the same as pre-pandemic when I last week here. They don't allow you to come back for more sides anymore (not that it was good for my waistline anyway).They still have those amazing hot rolls! And even though it was early evening, they still had baby back ribs available which were also great.
Super dissatisfied with the meal and experience tonight. We had trouble finding a clean tray to put our silverware on. There was no one to greet us at the meat carving station. There was trash along the line and dirty unkept floors. Just filthy. We should have left at this point. The ice glasses were dirty with crust and lip prints. The food didn’t taste like barbecue and the price we paid was totally not worth it! I voiced my feedback to the manager who seemed not to take interest. Oh well I guess we are all young and inexperienced at one point in our lives.
