This was a fun place. I ordered dessert, it was called a cake box. I loved the cake box and the food came out fast.The service was great and our waitress was genuine and friendly. I loved the chips too ??
Went during the middle of the week for dinner. This place has a sign up that said they were short staffed so expect a longer wait time. When asked the waiter said that was mostly during COVID-19 times, but the sign was still up. He said they don't use all of the dining area at this time. The service was good and food was excellent. We ordered the cheese dip appetizer with meat. It was good. Serving portion sizes are decent. Some had leftovers. Not me. ?
Wait time was a little long from kitchen. They were quite busy and understaffed. As most businesses, a note blaming lack of workers. I find that to be tacky and suggest they look at pay, management, and why employees don't stay.Food was good. One error made and quickly fixed.Waiter was AMAZING. Fully enjoyed our visit.
On Mother's Day weekend my son took me to my favorite restaurant. Upon arrival I noticed a sign on the door stating that they were short staffed and the wait will be a little longer. We only waited 5 minutes. The service was superb. We ordered the chimichangas. They changed recipe on them and they had to much cheese for my son and the manager understood and took the food back with no problem and had it made with no cheese on inside. My son was pleased with the food. I recommend eating here and I definitely will be back.
I love love love this restaurant. But I will now only be going to the Longview location. My 2nd time coming to this Mesquite location. The first time I came, right after I ate and was getting ready to leave, a roach crawled on the table. I didn’t come back for months but today I tried to give them another try because this is the only location close to me. I ordered a alcoholic drink and there’s literally bugs in it. Never again. ?
It a while since I had Mex Tex food, I have to say it was the best. Not too much cheese, Chile rayyeno was perfect with green sauce. Bean and rice cooked to perfect like my mothers. I will be going back for the tamales dinner. Let you know how good they are.
We went here 02/05/2022 around 9:00pm and the bartender was outstanding, she makes some awesome drinks and our server was amazing as well and made sure everything came out quick and he’s was very kind as well! I didn’t happen to get either of their names but thank you for being such awesome people!

My boyfriend and I showed up 10 minutes before closing time and we were served like a king and queen food was excellent hot fast. Someone was always present I noticed there was a gentleman a little far off that was almost always keeping an eye on us and our server was awesome.
I left a review last night, because of the service, before I even got home at ate. They spoiled me, in a good way, with the most amazing Mexican food. My mom was at home, and she waited so long for me. She was really hungry, too, and tired- as she works very hard, getting up so very early. Because they took such care of me, the back forgot to re-do my mom’s so that it would be warm like mine. I only say this because, if you have an issue with anything, Dani will do whatever she can to fix it. Thus, my mom shall have a fresh meal when she gets home tonight- and I might grab something from Jeremy at the bar. My mom is the one that I need to thank, as she chose this restaurant to eat at last night. (Well, to get take out.) I didn’t even think to tell Dani (the GM) that my mom chose our destination for dinner. My mom deserves to be as happy with the food as I was, and Dani will take care of her, as well. I’m definitely going in again soon, at least for happy hour, Mon-Thurs. I live about 30 minutes from here, but it’s a nice treat. Thank you, Dani, for your attention to my mom’s food, as well. Thanks, again, Jeremy- for the drink. Yummy.
