Very rude employees on the evening of 4/26, they refused to give me Uber order for nothing, they deserve to be fired. Update: even unpredictable experience for gig delivery as of a Sunday the lobby closes and drive thru gets long, how the hell are we able to pick up the customer's orders quick?? Time is everything!! I understand they may be understaffed but boy, it's just tough not at least if we could just pick it up on foot in front of the drive thru window
I went to Popeyes in Pleasant Grove on St.Augustine. I completed a survey online which was on back of my receipt and given coupon code to get two pieces of chicken and biscuit after completing survey at any Popeyes location. I went to this Popeyes in Mesquite with my receipt and coupon code on back of receipt. Now keep in mind I go here all the time because it's near my job. As I begin to order in drive thru I was told to drive to the window in which has never happen. I get to the window gave cashier my receipt, he close the window and the Manager tall African American female looks at my receipt and said you will have to go back to the location where you recieve this receipt. I said excuse me, the receipt states any Popeyes location and I have used other coupons from other Popeyes here before. The cashier gave me back my receipt and I looked at him and said I come here all the time and never had any problems. He said well you can speak with a Manager and it's not going to matter. I pull out of the drive thru into a parking spot and call there Corporate office. I was told any survey coupon could be used at any Popeyes location. I will never go back to this Popeyes anymore. I had the money to purchase my food but, I did a survey on behalf of Popeyes to get two pieces of chicken free.. This Manager needs to be train on customer service because she doesn't need to be working at your Popeyes if she doesn't know your policy on survey coupon codes and she walked away from the window without saying a word to me nor did she try to explain anything to me. If I could give this location a zero I would. Never again will I go back to this location. I will continue going to the location on St.Augustine because this location gets more business and the workers are very professional. I see why your location in Mesquite has bad Reviews!!
This location is the absolute worse! I wish I had given them a review a while ago. Last September it was a Sunday night I came thru the drive thru at 9:40 no one came to the speaker, I drove up to the window the young guy said they were closed I told him they don’t close until 10. He just shrugged his shoulders. I asked for a manager she said they have run out of everything. I told her I don’t believe her because the young man would have stated that and this is not the first time they claim they have run out of EVERYTHING. I believe is because they don’t want to drop food close to closing time. My son has ordered from them since on the app they have gotten his order wrong several times. Recently he ordered thru DoorDash twice and twice they confirmed his order and both times his order was cancelled. This location has closed early on several occasions. Will never go back
Phenomenal service!! From the moment I placed my order to the moment I received my food everything was great!! I was about to ask the person at the pick up window for a cup holder, but he already had my drinks in one!! I was so excited because often times when I go through drive-thru at other restaurants I have to ask for a cup holder and it makes it difficult carrying the drinks one by one. The food was very fresh and delicious. I ordered 3 of the boxes and they were absolutely wonderful. It was my 1st time visiting this Popeyes location, but I'll definitely be back!!
There's always something going wrong with this location. They also hardly ever have anything available or ready. What was suppose to be an 8 minute wait (with no cars in line but me) for 4pc chicken to be ready turned into a 25 minute wait (with cars lined up to the street now. It's usually problems like this or they are out of half the items in the menu.If there is ANYTHING consistent with this location, it is that you will normally always have something go wrong with your desire item on each visit. I love Popeye's, and grew up on it, but I cannot get it often here because the atrociously constant bad results that usually occur at this location. Even complaints to their upper management don't fix this location's issues. And they do not care about giving any kind of compensation for their mishaps.I do wish there was another Popeye's near here so that I wouldn't have to deal with this location at all. They really need help.
We ordered chicken sandwiches and they were extremely distasteful. If it were not for the fries and red beans and rice we also ordered I would be giving this place 1 start. It may not be the cooks fault as the chicken just seemed to be very stiff and chewy (not how chicken sandwiches should be) but the service itself was you would expect at your typical fast food restaurant
Ate there today and the chicken was hot but the batter was hard as a rock. They cooked it to long. Mine was even burnt a little. They need to teach the cook how to fry chicken like the Popeyes in Rockwall. The crust is crispy flaky and light and tastes delicious.
Honestly this is the worse Popeyes I’ve ever been too! They are ALWAYS out of food. Never ever come here like 2 or less hours before they close. And it’s not like they run out of 1 thing it’ll be like they only have 2 things available! Including chicken!! The stuff they do have available is usually cold or not good either. Just horrible! This has happened to me like 3 times. This Popeyes alone has turned me off of Popeyes as a whole. I’ll just go to Canes from now on.
I had the weirdest experience. Ran in on a Monday to order a 10 piece with large red beans and rice. The Associate said I couldn't get the beans because they didn't have any container for carry out customers. If I ordered on line they would accommodate me. It's all because of lack of delivery and covid. I've been shaking my head for 5 days...
I went on 12-23-2921 @ 1102 am, Mario who worked the drive through window was very kind/ respectful. I always enjoy the food here…?????????????????
