Big shrimp and fish filets. Usually don't expect much food for the money at seafood places, but Lutfi's served plenty! Will definitely be back.

This is my new favorite spot! I have only had the pasta (several times), but if the rest of the menu’s food is cooked to perfection like the pasta, you will never go wrong eating here. The cakes are also excellent. I had the red velvet and it simply will melt in your mouth! I will try the fish next! I can not wait to try it. I am writing this review while my stomach is aching for their food but they closed today!!! *tear drop* Go by and give them a try! You will crave this food from the first bite!
Found this gem on Google and was very pleased. They are a fairly new establishment, they stated they opened around December.When I walked in everyone was very friendly and welcoming. They were very helpful on what was popular to order and very informative and answered all my questions and accommodated my request ?.The food came out in a timely manner (about 15 mins or less). I ordered the Half Pound Dinner (sides: okra and Mac n cheese) and the Build Your Own Pasta: Penne, Garlic Herb sauce, added mushrooms, spinach, and sun dried tomatoes ($1 ea extra for added items).Taste & flavor of all items were on point! I don't really eat fish or okra but I did try them to see and they both were seasoned well you can taste the slight saltiness and other seasonings in the batters. My favorite of the fish and okra was the crunch, the batter on the fish did not fall apart like other places and the okra was not slimy on the inside. My husband is so picky on his fish and okra but he about hurt himself eating almost all of his food! He definitely loved the seasoning and flavor of all.The PASTA, oh my goodness in my belly! It was a flavor battle in my mouth and it was so delish and they accommodated my request on not putting a lot of sauce in it and it was perfect. Had my husband try also and he was dancing and he doesn't like mushrooms but loved everything about it.The only thing we were "just okay" on was the Mac n cheese, it was creamy and good on the saltiness but could use just a lil something. The other was the garlic bread was good but bc it was wrapped in the foil,.it steamed so it was a little too soft.We will definitely order here again!! Keep up the great flavor!
Stop searching for some decent fish! Head on down to Lutfi's. Fish seasoned well, the sides were good. You okra heads no soggy okra over here at all. Oh and the best part for last...the customer service was awesome. Like Lutfi's staff really impressed me. Keep up the good work guys. Now if yall do daiquiris be ready for me to come on in and make myself home.
Got the 1/2 lb fried catfish with spaghetti. & green beans. Catfish was crunchy, seasoned really good, and came with some well made tarter sauce. Spaghetti also seasoned good without meat. Green beans also seasoned well. Small place with good fast and courteous service!!!!!!! Will be returning. Recommend visiting.
The food was sooo good I inhaled it before I could take a picture. I had the 1/2 lb of fish with two sides I choose green beans and French fries the meal was big enough for me and my daughter to share. The fish was fried and seasoned perfectly. The green beans were so good you could just eat them alone and be content with life. The server was so nice she handed me an extra side of them on the house. I’ll definitely be a repeat customer. The food is impeccable the hospitality can’t be beat and the vibe is chill. Please do yourself a favor and stop by you won’t be disappointed.
Chileeee I ate my food already so no pictures ?? it was nicely presented in my to go box with aluminum foil to keep everything warm! I got the Cajun crawfish Pasta and baby yea they did it with that one!! This was my first time and I’m definitely going back AGAIN!! It wasn’t too greasy and it was seasoned to perfection! The portion served for the amount of $$ was 100% worth it! I also tried the lemon cake and it topped everything off! The little interaction I had with the rep that answered the phone was very nice! I am from New Orleans and that meal was the closest I’m getting to home at the moment! Y’all gotta try it at least one time for the one time!
This place definitely exceeded my expectations. The food was excellent!!! The staff was friendly and welcoming and made me feel right at home. I will definitely be coming back and bringing people.
I love it!!! A taste of home without having to go home. Food was fresh and dee-lish. Family oriented staff was on point and a full representation of Kansas City on the walls. I’ll definitely be back.
