Really expensive chicken that doesn't even taste that great! There's another chicken joint which is on the same street that beats them hands down in terms of quality. The breading on this chicken is thick and pasty tasting, especially if they over batter or don't cook all the way through. They hire a lot of high school kids who don't take their job seriously. A lot of horseplay, lack of professionalism, and just plain bad service all around.

Food is decent, but the customer service was not great at all. < That was my review a few years ago. Today (3/2022) was not bad at all. I increased my 2 star review to a 4. Only because they made me pull up when no other car was behind me. Took longer than expected for my chicken to cook, but at least I know it's fresh.
The two times I've been here the food is not fresh. It's the only one I've went to where the food taste as if it wasn't cooked fresh but has been sitting for a long time. The poppers were very dry and chicken. I will not return to this location being I am very disappointed.
I would give it zero stars if I could. Literally my whole order wrong. The whole golden chick experience from drive thru to when I got the food. Horrible! Why are you guys even opened. They ask me at the window if I want a different drink cause the syrup ran out then they give me another drink that Is flat. I then ask for a sweet tea. They tell me they also have no ice. 15 minute drive home to find out they were also missing the sides that I ordered and payed for.
Go in the afternoon food very hot and fresh at night they stop earlier than closing wont say their closed
I was inside at the restaurant making my order, and I saw a employee a male fixing the orders and he was with out mask and touching inside his ears, touching his face and using the phone..it was very nasty because he don't wash his hands and touching everything including the food
Went by the about 15 minutes ago. There was one car in the first lane so I went into the second lane. First car finished ordering so then I was asked what I wanted. I started telling the lady my order. Meanwhile another car pulls into the first lane. I was done giving my order and all of a sudden the lady said, "ok, ma'am? You're going to have to wait. " I thought she was talking to the other people but then she proceeded to take their order, and I'm just like, "what?????" I just went to the Golden Chik on Cartwright.
Food was made fresh everything was great. Their drive through staff (Tony)was friendly an pleasant ver professional. I would definitely recommend this location.
TONY was the Best. He is the only person who ever put ice in the drink glasses.
