Visit! Eat! Socialize! Went to lunch today with one of my coworkers, and boy, we had a great meal! Arrived right at lunchtime and we were immediately greeted by friendly waitresses and staff. The food was "Classic" El Fenix (which I love). I had the classic sour cream enchiladas with rice and beans. It's a staple of their menu. I have fond memories way back from childhood eating here with my parents. I can remember El Fenix as far back as seven or eight years old. That was over forty years ago! The location was clean, food was hot, and staff were awesome! It was the first visit EVER for my coworker (originally from Washington state), and he was impressed as well! Definitely recommend giving this location a visit.
Lunch for 30 people on Fri April 8, 2022. They had 2 tables set up and had everything we needed ready. They had 1 server per table, they were Jimmy and Luis who had our rowdy bunch well in hand. Every orders was out quickly and correct. Very pleasant gentlemen and polite. Great time and will definitely go again. Ask for Jimmy or Luis, they were exceptional!!
We had a party for friends visiting from Denmark to introduce to them to our friends. It was a party of 23 people. Jimmy was our waiter and he was wonderful. He was good at greeting us all when he took our order and the drinks came quickly and the food was served promptly. He even asked if we wanted him to take a group picture. Great job Jimmy, thank you for your great service.
El Fenix Mesquite used to be our families' meals Every Wed They recently went up on Wed special- no notice, no alert. We paid quite a bit more for same meal. They should've even lessened the portion & chips vs such increase. Most importantly, our waiter virtually Ignored us most of our inside dining time & catered to tables drinking alcohol. Non-drinkers pay attention to your service levels. We're non-drinkers. I'll search for a better dining experience as well as best price-good food, even lessor proportion.
Love this El Fenix. Just popping in for lunch now and again is awesome I never spend more than $12 on my meal. Of course there's the tip but for the service and yummy food I don't mind at all.
Love love love this El Fenix!!! Really good food and the waiter has been there a long time and is so nice and serves everything perfectly. Now the only down side is when you go to pay your bill the cashier's ignore you and make you wait while they are either on the phone or just playing with the register. I would really like to have the same pleasant experience checking out as I had with the food and wait service.
Jimmy was an amazing server. Definitely made the night. He was very prompt and always made sure we had everything we needed! Will for sure come back and ask for him!
Great dinner tonight as usual. Our waiter, Jimmy, was the best. We had a large party and he was very attentive to all our needs. Top notch service!!!
Great service and greeted when l walked in.. Tried the Wednesday Enchilada Special. It was good with chips and salsa. Come out and give them a try.
