Back in the day, churches chicken was really good, but then at one point, they had really feel off in the way it tasted. I have no idea what was going on around the time, so I just stopped eating at all locations. Then a few months ago, my son took me out to eat at one on lake June, and I've been hooked again every since, lol. It was delicious and right on time. The only reason I'm giving 3 stars is because at a certain location, when I order the 3 piece which comes with a leg and 2 thighs for $3.99,a certain employees won't let me exchange the leg for another thigh. If I'm paying for an order and don't like certain parts of a chicken, why can't I exchange it for what I want. It really shouldn't be such of a big deal and they will tell me I have to pay extra money for the exchange, but I only have this problem at one churches chicken.
I go here quite often unfortunately. 4 young kids, single mom, no child support from that piece of a leprechaun I was married to.....you have to do what you have to, right? Fast, fresh, cheap, hot chicken that fills up and feeds my clan is what is needed when I have worked all day. Sorry, truth is truth. The people who work here are very sweet and very catering to me everytime they see me and that makes this place even better!
There were no problems at all the order was right and the young girl at the window was super nice about asking us to pull up and wait she explained what we were waiting for and brought the order out quickly.
Man pulled in drive thru was busy but this place has it together. I ordered 20 pieces of chicken and my food was ready and HOT when I got to the window. This is my new chicken spot.
It's a fried chicken place. Of all the options out there, Church's is my favorite. The staff is always friendly. My chicken is always hot and juicy, and unlike those tiny pieces Popeye's sell me, the offerings at Church's are decent sized.
I rarely eat fried chicken, but I decided to splurge a bit. I had been craving fried chicken for awhile, so why not. I basically just went thru the drive thru real quick. Great customer service and she also recommended a different meal option that was alot less. I found that to be rather helpful as well. I was In and out quickly.
The tenders were not the original recipe I am used to from Churchs. The fries were fresh and very tasty!
This church's restaurant is excellent, the associates are friendly and attentive, ready to help incoming customers, great job church's wish all the church's restaurants be like this particular one ??♂️
Church's has suffered a huge set back with the quality of their food. A once family favorite has turned into a never visit again. We had stayed away from their restaurants for the past four years. We have it another chance a couple of days ago and their original chicken was old and dry. The once delicious, crispy and fresh food is now old, stale and has no flavor. I mourn for the loss of a family friend.
Chicken was perfect.. crunchy..fully cooked.. biscuits were nice and hot.. only issue was the mashed potatoes..they were not mixed well..so we had clumps of powdered potato
