DON'T GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR! CHEAP ON CONDIMENTS! CAN'T TAKE A CUSTOMER ORDER CORRECTLY! RUDE STAFF! I met the owner of this establishment way back in 2000 when he was in the conceptualization stage. I, and a few of my alumni friends from college wanted to invest in his restaurant. He had numerous years of great food experience with CiCi's and a few other places, I think. Over the years, his food has always been fairly good quality. I think the reason why his chain never took off to greater heights was due to his marketing strategy, cheap bait and switch in terms of sides and condiments, his locations (refuses to place in diverse or urban locations), and most importantly, the staff. My recent order is a perfect example. Paid over$50 bucks for a couple of salads, and a modest wing order and I didn't even get the ingredients as requested. An alvacado salad without alvacado, well, isn't an alvacado salad! I was so tired that I didn't feel like going up there and making the argument. The staff at the Mesquite location are really odd. It's almost like their customer base that they cater to is a Anglo mix of the legacy side of Mesquite patrons. You definitely feel like the "other" when you arrive, particularly if you have any level of diversity in your person. I usually never go there anymore, but when my spouse insists (they still have decent food), we GrubHub due to the lack of service.
The best service! This place really does a great job at making customers feel special and the staff always goes above and beyond I always order Togo and they have the sweetest girl working togo and the best bar staff. The only issues I’ve had recently is that they started using smaller ranch cups. The food portions here are usually pretty large and I never mind paying for extra ranch but 75 cents for only 2oz of ranch is a bit ridiculous and the wing sauces are the same size but for 99 cents. How do they expect us to only use 2oz of ranch for 20 wings that I’m already paying 25 bucks for?? Either way I love this place and will continue bringing my family here
Decided to buy food for my family and we've never tried this place so we gave it a chance, I ordered online and went to go pick it up. I decided to check my food before driving off just to make sure and one of my orders had fries instead of the mac n cheese I asked for, the person up front said they were out of mac and replaced it with fries but I thought it was weird that I wasn't informed of that before leaving the restaurant? I was offered a free side since my order wasn't correct and she said it would be right out, I waited honestly almost 30 minutes and not one person checked on me, gave me an idea of how much longer it would take, nothing at all and I decided to leave because now my once hot food was getting warm/cold. The fries were soggy and unseasoned but other than that the burgers and the fish were good. Just don't offer something then have people wait for it to never come. I probably wouldn't go back but that's just me.
I called an order in to be ready in 20 minutes. Thirty-five minutes later, I had to "pay/tip" someone to bring my curbside delivery to me. "I'll see if someone doesn't mind bringing it out", was not what I wanted to hear. If you don't do curbside, don't offer it.The food was excellent!
I just went this Sunday and it was super busy, I believe there was only one server and she was the reason why I will be going back. Her name was Mayra, I didn’t know how she managed to keep a smile on her face while handing two baseball teams and tables all alone. I asked her what she recommended she said giiiiirl I’m vegan but our burgers are amazing . She kept checking up on me and so told her she makes anyone feel welcomed . I will only be coming when she’s working ! Best service, highly recommend, also the poblano burger was so good!
Ordered Jack's sampler was the most burnt food I ever tasted in modern time. Three burnt chrispy egg rolls almist like a tortilla chip.Three cheese sticks that did not even have movement the cheese was burnt to the dough. 8 or so of the tiniest chicken pebbles I have ever seen. I'm not sure what is good to order here but this is the third time I had food from here in my honest opinion you could get better food from any local fast food place or perhaps heat up ant frozen food from a grocery store and it would be better. Disgusting food
It was good for a sports bar. They had 3 dollar margaritas which were strong well at least the two I gad. My mom's drink was not as strong. Cheese fries are a little greasy for my taste but not a one was left. Their fried pickles were awesome. My tara said their brisket barbecue sandwich is good. There burgers were awesome. The cookes got our sides mixed up, so mom and I traded burgers and it was perfect. The service was good the waitress checked on our party of 9 frequently. My son who is a very picky eater at all his chicken tenders which that is a shocker and says alot about the chicken tenders.
Purpose was to play pool. Pool table was horrible, Q ball kept getting stuck. I finally found the ball rack on top of the boxed Christmas tree.Coin slot was raggedly and kept getting stuck. Employee finally found chalk in the office. Drinks were good and waitress was super sweet. Oh yeah , the change machine was broken. Will never go back.
I been going there for years and they finally got a great waitress. She was my bartender at another location her name is Myra . I will be going more than I was only when she’s working .Suggest the mozzarella bites!
I ordered the philly cheesesteak, it came with fries which are never bad, as far as the Philly cheesesteak it was. So delicious! I asked for fresh grilled jalepenos and the only thing is missing is the mushrooms. I highly recommend trying food when either Jesse or Mikey is working. Absolutely delicious!!
