Food was very good, but the hibachi was a bit pricey. I am used to paying those prices for the full hibachi experience. Our server offered us steamed rice or fried rice. No mention was made of an upcharge for the fried rice. When the bill came, there was a charge of almost $10 for 2 fried rice. When I questioned the server, she said there is an upcharge for fried rice instead of steamed rice. I said that should be mentioned at the time of ordering. No apologies from the server. Not sure if the meal was worth the money.
Lunch was delicious. Bento box was on point.
Great take out experience with convenient ordering and pickup. The chicken fried rice with butter sauce was tasty and the portion was healthy.

I used to love this place but it has slipped. The fish didn't seem as fresh as they used to serve. The salmon skin roll was a mess. Even the city health inspection lists Zen as trending "Worse." There is much better value out there.

Delicious food! We usually order a combination sushi roll and some fried rice. Food is consistent and yummy!
Very nice and pleasantly decorated interior. Booths have high backs and thin individual cushions, tables have well padded chairs. Great menu with many Japanese dishes. Sushi was spectacular and the prices are excellent compared to the portions and quality of food you receive. Soft drinks come in original plastic bottles that you can pour into a glass with ice, if you prefer so, you can take your bottle with you if you don't finish it. Green tea comes hot or cold and is from Japan. Udon noodles (soup) are delicious. Out of the many Sushi places I have been trying in Collin County, this one has jumped to the top 3. Staff is very friendly and helpful. To go containers are available. Definitely recommend and will visit again.
