I went in for my 1st time after seeing 4.1 stars. I ordered 3 tacos w rice and beans and a carnitas burrito. Tacos were good, not great and burrito was a joke. It was not a proper carnitas burrito that comes w meat, guacamole and pico. This BARELY had any meat, it also had beans, rice, lettuce and cheese. Absolutely ridiculous and will never go back.

I've only eaten here once, on the way back from a medical call. We were in a rush, so my partner and I got street tacos to go. If the rest of the menu is as good as the street tacos, this is definitely worth a visit. The chicken and pork tacos were really good, but the steak was amazing. Very quick service too. I'll be coming back

The team at comida connoisseur decided to try this place out since we were craving good tacos in McKinney (first red flag). We stopped by this little hole in the wall place because that's the best food right? Today we were wrong.First we arrived and we're told to sit wherever. We chose a nice booth. However no one gave us menus. After about 10 minutes we got a menu. Okay.We order our tacos (pastor, barbacoa, and carnitas). What we received was small skimpy tacos. I literally took one tiny piece of one barbacoa taco and it literally looked like i was about to tortilla. To add salt to the wound, there was little to no cilantro and cebolla on the tacos. We look to give good reviews and can be flexible but if you are going to charge the customer $2 / taco, make it a $2 taco. What we received was a $1 taco with little to no meat, little toppings and a half full stomach. One of us got 4 tacos, the other 3 tacos. both left still hungry and angry that we had to pay for that! Literally felt disrespected being served that food. Do you not think that customers look at the food? When we get experiences like this, it makes us less likely to venture out and try more places. One thing i will give them is the flavor was great! The issue is that the tacos were so skimpy that we weren't able to enjoy the food. The reason this is getting a 2 star and not a one is because we can't give a 0 star and the guy at the counter was cool since we payed cash he gave us a flat 5 back. Respect.

I order food to go only. I do recommend the following. Bistek Tacos are good with the salsa that they provide the orange is pretty hhotfor some individuals the green is a little milder. Chile rellenos are damn good those are poblano peppers stuffed with white cheese. Pozole sucks I have never eating a pozole with quarted limes in the soup that made the pozole bitter. I cook a lot better than that junk Over all I gave it 2 stars due to the pozole.

Food is very good for the most part. Only issue I had was I ordered no sour cream and the server noticed sour cream in my torta and too back to cook. She came back 5 minutes later with a cold torta and they had just scraped off most of it. When I asked she admitted to them just scraping it off and brining it back to me cold. Waitress did not follow up with table for drinks or anything after she was asked about my food.

First time, food was delicious. Our server didn't check on us much but we got everything pretty quickly. Reasonable prices.

Best Mexican food in town.

Recently moved back to Mckinney and came here for a breakfast burrito after missing the delicious ones I've had in a couple of other cities. The waitress couldn't tell me if they had orange juice. She said something about them just buying it from the gas station or something next door but they were closed. So I just got a water, which ended up having black specs floating around. For food I ordered a chorizo and papa burrito not realizing it literally only had chorizo and potatoes. Where was the egg at least? I also love refried beans on my breakfast burritos, but I didn't ask for that because at the bottom of the menu, it says "ALL breakfast items come with rice and beans". But the waitress only brought the burritos. So I asked where the rice and beans were. She said the burritos don't come with those. So I ordered a side of beans and she brought out a side of rice. Bad food and bad customer service. Will never return.

I was going over to my in-laws for Christmas. I thought it would be nice to bring breakfast. I ordered in person right when they opened. I had an assortment of tacos that included chorizo, barbacoa, beans, and cheese. I also bought some sweet bread. The salsas that were included were very spicy. I personally like spicy, but my family said they were too hot.All in all, they had great flavor and I would eat here again.

Called them Thanksgiving Eve around 1:30pm, desperately looking for 2doz tamales for dinner. At first they told me they couldn’t do it so I thanked them and hung up. Got a call back about 10min later telling me they could have em done by 5pm. With salsas, beans and rice as sides.Giant pork & red sauce tamales, incredible taste, impeccable customer service. Extremely happy. Thank you!!
