Burgers are good and some are unique from most burger places. The onion rings are big and good but were a bit too greasy. There is a decent amount of seating and it was terribly busy when we were there. They have a pretty large beer tap selection, if that's your thing.It was our first time here and wasn't sure what was going to be "square" about it. Turns out it's just the cups and some of the dishes your food comes out on.
Was looking for a burger place in McKinney and this was high on the recommendation list. I had a very good burger and it was different from anything I'd ever had before. I had the High Society Burger which had procuitto and roasted red pepper jam and baby arugula on it. Very good although I wasn't overly impressed with the meat.My wife had the daily special, fish and chips which she enjoyed, but sadly she was sick the entire night after having that meal so pretty sure the fish was bad.
Six of us had lunch there yesterday. It used to be a frequent place we would go to however it’s been about a year. There are some things I appreciate which are having cloth towels to dry your hands off in the men’s restroom.I did find the restaurant to be changed, and not in a good way. The glass was filthy where I was seated in the booth. When you have a restaurant that’s on the corner and all glass not keeping the windows spotless is a big mistake. There used to be a greeter at the door or around the door but yesterday it seemed dysfunctional. There was a lot of staff standing around back at the counter by the bar but no one cleaning, Addressing any of the many areas that could be cleaned as well as taking care of guests. I looked around more than 10 times to get extra ketchup and finally had my waitress come over. Under my seat I found a kids calculator. On the floor I found all sorts of items from previous guest, food, kids toys, and general debris. What is going on with the cleanliness of the restaurant.Your food was good but the cleanliness of the restaurant gave the overall impression of the restaurant three stars
The waiter was very friendly and polite. The music was a tad loud for my liking, but in the grand scheme of things, not bad. I could still hear regular conversations in the room. I ordered a lamb burger and a chocolate martini. They have all kinds of beers and wines, and they have a full bar. Everything was delicious. It isn't my first time here and won't be the last.
This is a great restaurant. Friendly staff and the burgers are truly gourmet. Please try the lamb burger as it will knock your socks off. I was hesitant at first but we are glad we tried it. Nothing like it, kind of has a New Orleans spice vibe meets Mediterranean...
What a great experience!!! Had to leave another restaurant on the square after waiting for an hour for food that never came. Walked into this place and was treated promptly and food was out in less than 10 minutes. Our waiter mentioned they were extremely short staffed but we didn’t notice it at all. He was very attentive to all the guests! Highly recommend!!!
Amazing food by far the best service I’ve ever experienced server named uri was amazing laughed with us and was such a good guy food was 10/10!! Would come here again and again…
The burgers are simply ok and pretty overpriced. The beef patty didn't taste like freshly ground burger usually tastes. The presentation does a good job of hiding this. The onion rings were drenched in oil, the batter was bland and oversalted. I didn't like the pseudo formal dining setup with the subpar waiting. I can say I tried the hype but i was pretty underwhelmed.
If you like being ignored and bad service, this is the spot for you. The worst part is we weren't the only ones. The couple next to us ended up leaving before they even ordered. It's a shame because the food is really good.
Everything is wonderful here! Hamburger’s and wings are so good.
