Great little place to eat and friendly service.

I came across Mr. Ethan Payne when he appeared as a guest on a Cryptocurrency Podcast in USA. I was listening to and was very impressed with his straight forward approach and the principles of his trading strategy. I invested $1000 with his company as a trial. I was able to withdraw a profit of $13,000 after 7 days. Mr. Ethan Payne made this possible, do well and reach out to him for a secure investment too. food was really good and good prices

We enjoyed our breakfast at Spoons with family. They allowed you to be seated even though Not all of our party of 5 was there yet. The food was very good and our service was good too. There is a bench outside with some shade in case you have to wait for a table. Pricing was consistent with similar restaurants.

We visit McKinney yearly and visited Spoons on the recommendation of a friend who previously lived in the area.Upon our arrival, it was obvious there would be a wait to get a seat at the outdoor seating area. And there was a wait for a table inside as well; however, the hostess told us we could go around to the other side of the building to Spoons Garage and get seated immediately. Spoons Garage serves the same menu as Spoons Cafe, so don't think you'll get a different menu - you won't have that issue. My wife ordered the Not So Simple Breakfast, with cottage potatoes, tomatoes, wheat toast, bacon, and eggs. She also said the coffee was some of the best she's ever had, and she is a coffee connoisseur.I ordered Jose's Omelet - eggs, pepper jack cheese, tomato, onion, bacon red and green peppers, and mushrooms - yummy! The pepper jack cheese definitely gave the omelet extra flavor. I also ordered a bowl of grits - hard to find in most restaurants, but the grits could have been a meal by itself.I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a hearty breakfast or even some lighter fare. Will definitely come back here on our next visit.

Iconic. A true staple of downtown Mckinney. Great food! My family has been coming here for nearly 10 years now. We’ve never had a bad meal. Ever. We LOVE Spoons!!!

Spoons Cafe is our idea of the perfect place to eat in downtown McKinney. We love outside dining and Spoons is centrally located downtown so lots to observe. The food is amazing (chicken fried steak, spicy chicken soup, not your average hot dog for the kids, chips and salsa, EVERYTHING!). Great service. Downtown McKinney is busy soo you may or may not have a wait but it’s worth it once you get seated!! We have family visiting in 3 weeks and we will be taking them to Spoons!!!

What a great experience and great food! We had a bridal brunch at @spoons garage. They were so accommodating. And we had a wonderful breakfast buffet for brunch. The help was friendly and the food was tasty! I recommend them highly!7

Unfortunately I believe COVID has caused this place to begin buying lower quality meat for hamburgers or I was just unlucky. The shortage of staff looks like it has also hit here since it took quite a while to get the waitress to come back to take our order. Sweet Tea was no where near sweet enough, and the cheeseburger's meat was not good at all. We've met here a handful of times over the past 2 yrs and each visit seems to degrade in taste. I do like the name and the nostalgia of this place, unfortunately a hamburger should be an easy sell. Menu also said the burgers come with a side, which I asked if that could be fries and the waitress said yes. Only to find being charged extra for fries when I rcvd the receipt and the waitress said nothing about the upcharge for only a handful of fries:( The price of the burgers increased by $3 so it was extremely disappointing the taste of the meat did not taste fresh at all. The menu is large so you are welcome to try here but I would just steer clear of the burgers.

This place is such a cute & cozy cafe with REALLY good food. I had the chicken salad plate & it was delicious. The fruits & veggies were all really fresh & the portion size was very generous. My husband had eggs, bacon & waffles & he was really happy too. The desserts are incredible here.
