I don't eat at Popeyes often. I went here for lunch and tried the new shrimp and chicken tender combo meal with mashed potatoes and a biscuit. I actually wasn't impressed with the chicken, but the shrimp was great! I never would have imagined liking shrimp more than chicken at Popeyes! If you are on the fence, then go ahead and try the shrimp or fish. It was really good. I love the mashed potatoes and gravy there also. I don't normally eat gravy, but Popeyes is amazing!
The service needs help. Some of the employees seem to be a bit slow on comprehension.I had to walk them through how to prepare my meal.I don't frequent fast food restaurants often, and this is why I don't.
This is the second time I tried to give this location a try and again they have messed up my order. The first go round they shorted me chicken which I don't understand considering all you have to do is count. This time around they forgot to put my fries in the bag. So after getting home I had to turn back around and wait for them to remake my whole order again since my food was cold. Not once did I get a apology or anything I'm guessing this is the standard now.
I bought a chicken sandwich from there which gave me food poison. I was throwing up and doing number two all night. The next day I went up and told them what had happened and they asked me how do I know the sandwich made me sick do I have something doctor.So I went to the clinic and now I have something paperwork. They are not storing their food properly I don’t think there will be open much longer.
Was picking food up for a customer (door dash). Well 15 minutes later I finally got the food. They put me behind on delivery. By the time the Customer got their food,they were not happy campers. They in desperate need for speed.
Drive through with large meshed potato but they gave me rice for $5.39？
The Popeyes Corporation needs to do occasional (maybe more often than not) checks on their restaurants to see what's really going on and try to figure out why there is so much negativity at what seems like ALL of their restaurants. It doesn't matter where the Popeyes restaurants is...Popeyes Restaurants just seem to be the WORST with customer service and the upkeep of their restaurants. This Popeyes restaurant in McKinney is no different than any other Popeyes...just Horrible all the way around!!!! No matter if you order online, sit in the drive thru for a long time or stand in line forever, its not going to be an event free experience. Im tired of everyone blaming COVID for everything. Popeyes you all still need to clean up around the register, clean up in the dining area, around the soda machine, and clean the windows and the glass on the entry doors....Yes your chicken is good some of the time, but you alls appearance and customer service has sunk greatly over the years and continually gets worse.
Chick-fil-a move over! The chicken sandwiches here are better than at Chick-fil-a. I absolutely love Chick-fil-a as a company and the service is fantastic, but Popeyes has become my go too for a chicken sandwich. The chicken at Popeyes is so juicy and the buns are always fresh and fluffy.
Food was a nice change from the norm. Online was easy for a older man/store had a nice feel/very clean. Food was waiting when I arrived. You have a nice operation. I will return.
I ordered a large order of mash potatoes only to get home and see it was in a small drink cup and half way filled up. Like really? The service at this Popeyes has fallen way off! You order one thing and you get all the way home and they have given you basically whatever they felt like giving you which definitely not what you ordered.
