Ordered the curry with tofu and Cauliflower rice. The onions were raw.The broccoli was partially raw.The bell peppers were partially cooked. The cauliflower rice was fully raw.Tofu was the only thing cooked. It’s just a raw spicy mess
This was not a good experience..paid for my food online. They claimed they did not get my order, but the bank approved the charges twice...I wasn't leaving until I got my food..never ever going back again...not happy!
We've eaten at this particular Pei Wei for almost 20 years. We JUST tried to finish our dinners there tonight. There was literally no one in the restaurant, and now I know why. The quality of the food has gone downhill so badly that we'll never eat here again. I understand everyone is having supply chain issues, but the food wasn't up to Pei Wei's standards. It's a shame because we used to love this place....no more.
The food here is as good as any other Pei Wei and they'll bring it out to your car pretty quickly if you text when you arrive (just text the number on the sign), no need to go in. I've had the food here quite a few times in the last year or so and the quality has been consistent.
So sad to say… Pei Wei has gone down the drain. The quality of the food is horrible. The chicken fried rice was very soupy and definitely off on the flavor. The wonton soup for two definitely was not for two and didn’t taste like before and didn’t have basil. The kung pao chicken was dry, difficult to chew and had no sauce… and maybe 3 peanuts. They refunded the chicken fried rice to someone else’s card. Good thing we noticed and it was corrected. Still had to pay for the rest. Needless to say… the food wasn’t eaten.
HORRIBLE! Extremely POOR customer service. I placed an order for $54 using the Pei Wei app on Thursday, Jan.14th. The order was processed at 7:51pm, I arrived at the McKinney store at 8:03pm and the store was COMPLETELY closed! All the lights were out, no cars in the parking lot....CLOSED!I have called over and over again to speak to someone and for five days, I was on hold at time upwards to 15 minutes before becoming furiously frustrated and hanging up. I also attempted to contact the corporate office several times which is even worse and explains why customer service/business at the local stores is handled so poorly. I've left messages at the local store and the corporate office and NO ONE calls me back. The issue still has not been resolved and I have not received a refund.Someone finally answered the phone at the store on Monday, claimed he was the "General Manager" and he would give me a call back to resolve the issue and I still have not received a return call or refund!
Typically very good food at an affordable price. I love that they have several vegetarian options and their tofu is usually super crispy. Today I received a piece of chicken in my tofu plate which was a bit upsetting but the tofu was also soggy and the noodles all stuck together. I've only ever been at night and have never had an issue like this, so I'd recommend going for dinner rather than lunch.
Friendly and prompt service. The chef was kind and willing to make accommodations on a special change request I made. Great experience!
Love this restaurant, it's always been my favorite in McKinney, but their food and service quality has recently been declining. I miss what it used to be. Recently I ordered 1 entree for curbside in the app, and was waiting outside 20 minutes thinking they were just busy and behind on orders, but when I came in to see if my order was maybe just lost, they had it ready the whole time sitting on the shelf... They just couldn't be bothered to take it 5 feet out the door to my car as specified in the online order. They even tore down the signs up front where we could text them where we were parked for our order. Ridiculous. If you're going to offer curbside, at least go through with it.
Very happy to go here. This Pei Wei was clean and friendly. They've changed up the menu though and no longer serve crab rolls. Now it's crab wantons. Not delicious and no comparison.
