Daughter and I stopped for lunch. Self ordered off the computer there. Everything here now is self pick up. No, interaction with employees. Kinda becoming like fast food. Very disappointing. Daughter ordered a fruit drink and the dispenser was empty. Waiting and waiting for an employee and no one came to the counter so she ended up drinking ice tea.Had to go to the kitchen window to pick up food and back again to get butter.Only reason I'm writing this review is that I noticed on the receipt they have a space to add a tip. I found that very funny. Who am I giving a tip to???? Myself. No interaction with not one employee. No one checked on us to make sure we had everything and to see if we needed anything. Plus, we had to bust our own table. Put a really sour taste in my mouth. LolThe only reason why I'm leaving 2 stars is the strawberry salad was fresh and good.
Everyone knows the food you get tastes great at Panera.The problem is with this specific location, and to go orders in particular. It’s like they know there’s a good chance you aren’t going to go through everything right then in your car so they give you half full bowls of pasta and soup, leave out ingredients, or just don’t give you everything you order.I just visited this location again and I’m finally done with it. I ordered a salad and soup for curbside pick up at 9:45. Got home and the soup is missing. Talked to the manager at 10:01 and he says they’re closed so can’t do anything about it.So yeah. Food is good when you get it, but this location is seriously lacking in customer service and the management seems to not care at all.
ZERO STARS. The worst Panera on the Planet. Poor management and extremely poor order fulfillment! They ALWAYS leave items out of your order and don't refund you!! You have to call panera headquarters to get a refund. This has happened every single time. Literally. Cookies, bread, sandwiches, soups. No matter what you order, I guarantee you something will be missing. And of course the app doesn't let you change which Panera prepares your food.
Was really hungry for anything not a burger and stopped in the drive-thru for a salad. What a joke, the sad thing is was on me. I ordered an Asian Sesame Salad with Chicken...half of the thinks that there menu says are in this salad were not even there. It says mixed greens, only some chopped up Roman, no cilantro, not even sesame seeds. I will never stop here ever again. Oh and when did it become okay to just throw a piece of bread in the bottom of the bag that looks like someone tore off. Nasty! Below is a picture of my salad before I even touched it.
I love starting my day at this location. The coffee is always hot and the pastries are delicious! I haven't always had the best experiences at other near by locations but this one is by far the best one. The staff is super friendly anytime I enter this location, a few weeks ago I met the manager Caitlyn, she is always running around that store working hard. When I first met her she treated me just like someone she knew and saw all the time, it made my experience very welcoming. This store would not be the same without her and Ramon! Love this location!
We visit this Panera Bread regularly. The best thing about this place is being greeted by Ramon! He’s very friendly and makes you feel welcome and happy that you came inside!Our order is consistently right. Thank you Ramon!
This is the best place to eat breakfast since it has good coffee, bread and muffins. I recommend the turkey sandwich. It is made of real turkey. You will not find this type of sandwich anywhere else. Try to find a place that serves real turkey meat.
I recently started going to this McKinney location and every time we go there, my husband and me, we encounter the same problem. We usually order our food to go and we’re always missing something, either a pizza or a sandwich. When I go to the store and complain about it, the manager ask me for a receipt. Well guess what? They never give you a receipt so they can’t help you if you can’t show them proof of purchase. I don’t care about getting free food or coupons, that’s definitely not my intention. All I’m asking for is to get my order right every time I go there. Definitely not going back and will contact corporate. Terrible customer service!
Just an update ...My teen daughter was having a very stressful day and went to Panera for some comfort food. The employee must have recognized they she has been crying and when she got home she saw that the gal worker had wrote a note on her to go bag saying, 'it'll be ok' . it was so very sweet and thoughtful and she really appreciated the gesture. We order scones for breakfast and soup for lunch. The food tastes fresh and the orange scone is buttery with an orange glaze. The chicken noodle soup is perfect when fighting a cold or for comfort food. The noodles are thick and have a homemade feel.
If you order online, don’t expect your order to be correct. For the second time they have modified my order on their own. I have also specified that they slice the bagels, and once again they have not sliced them. I understand making a mistake once but not continuously. Very disappointed.
