Visit was in February evening party of 11. Wait was maybe 5 min, took a good amount of time to get drinks out but honestly wasn't a bad wait time for drinks, salad/soup, and food. Waitress was very nice only part I didn't enjoy was towards the end I waited for waitress to stop by and give to go box and a missing soup but took a long time
Always friendly and cozy to have a feel good meal at this Olive Garden. We ordered cheese sticks as an appetizer and my daughter ordered the Benet for deserts. Everything was fresh.

My wife and daughter went in for dinner tonight (2-27-22) at this McKinney location. They were given menus and seated. After that they waited, waited and waited for someone to acknowledge them and offer them drinks. After about 20 minutes of servers walking back and forth helping other people and ignoring them they decided it was time to go. When they brought the menus back to the front there were 3 to 4 staff standing around just talking to each other. My wife told them they waited long enough (about 25 minutes) with no one helping them and all one of them said was "oh". Hopefully just a bad training night.
Yesterday, My entire family showed up to celebrate my son's 13 BD. It was 17 of us . We got there at 5:25 PM and waited till 6:00 pm and we were not seated. They kept telling us that it will be a few minutes and that never came. They were NOT full at all. The restaurant had plenty of seats and tables for us to be accommodated. When we decided to leave 3 waitresses and the Hostess were laughing at us. In all sincerity we felt discriminated; it has been a long time since I felt that way. I was simple disappointed with their lack of service and upset at their attitude towards us. In no moment we became angry nor did we demanded anything, I went twice to the host to see why we were waiting so long when we could see they had plenty of room for us to seat. I would have more respect for them if they would have simply told us they could not provide service for us and not making us wait 35 minutes and do nothing about it. Very Diassapointed !!!!!!
For a great authentic Italian meal Olive Garden in McKinney is the place to go. They offer a great variety on their menu. My spaghetti with meatballs was great, my wife had chicken Alfredo and my son ‘The Tour of Italy’. Every meal was worth the money + the breadsticks and salad. And if you’re a wine drinker, they keep the cellar stocked. The wait staff was excellent as they have always been. I highly recommend Olive Garden in McKinney

Why when I immediately walk in the hostess is RUDE and then just because we have a party of 7 she tells me the wait is going to be 25-30 min wait or even longer - like being very RUDE and condensing - I don’t care how long the.l wait is - I came here to eat and I can wait. Now I remember why I don’t like coming to this restaurant - I normally will drive to Allen Olive Garden for the excellent customer service they provide there. Never again will I come to this McKinney location!!!Update only had to wait 9 minutes total - amazing huh
We ordered a large to-go meal for 16 people. It was brought out and all appeared to be good. Fast forward to getting home, the chicken scampi was shrimp scampi. Wouldn’t be too big of a deal if it wasn’t for my nephew being deathly allergic to the point he can’t even be in the room around it.I called and the girl who answered asked me to hold for a minute. Soon after she had the manager on the phone without me asking for him. He apologized and even offered to bring the replacement food to us so I didn’t have to miss out eating with my family.We live 15 minutes from the location. 20 minutes after the call, he was at our front door with the food. The food was great and this was over and above customer service. It meant so much to be able to stay with my family who I only get to see once a year. Thanks for the great service!
This is the first time I have had a bad experience at this location. The host was very friendly and sat us down within about 2min of arrival. We then proceeded to look over our menus as our kids colored on the kids menus. After 25-30 min we left since we weren't asked about drinks or appetizers. Several staff went by our booth, but not a word was spoken to us.The waiter at a nearby restaurant got a $20, 40% tip...Two stars because at least the host was nice.
