Oh boy. Let me tell you, between McAlister's and Panera, you better bury me at McAlister's Deli. Food is delicious. Roast beef with horse radish is awesome. Definitely this location exceeds expectations. It was very clean, warm, inviting, and all around a great experience. Food is not like a fast food chain. It didn't bloat and was just enough to satisfy hunger. McAlister's are normally great and this one carries that legacy.
Food was good and looked pretty busy when we got there but the line moved quickly. Food was served promptly and the staff was friendly and very accommodating. Was asked several times if we needed anything.Definitely recommend this place!
Hadn’t been to McAlister’s in years (I used to love it) and I guess I wasn’t missing much. Totally empty on a Saturday. I was served a salad on a flat aluminum tray covered with parchment paper. (???) Every time I tried to mix the dressing in, I got stuck on paper. I also said no croutons (gluten sensitivity) and it was covered in them. Then at one point I took a bite of some clearly rotten greens, which I then had to spit out, and that was it for me. My husband’s sandwich was mediocre at best. We won’t be back.
We were on our way to wine country for the day and decided to have lunch before driving 2 hours. A number of people had recommended McAlister's as a solid choice, especially for soup/sandwiches/deli style meals. While we were waited on very quickly, the food was a little slow to arrive, but the place was busy, so understandable. When our food did arrive, it was very good. The soups were served smoking hot, and were top notch. We had 2 different kinds of sandwiches, and I highly recommend the giant loaded baked potato for something different. All in all, an excellent choice, especially if you have kids and everybody wants something different. Very family friendly!
This place has awesome service and McAllister’s always has consistently good food. (and sweet tea) Calvin is an awesome manager, my family used to come in regularly a couple years ago and I always remember “Mr. Calvin” and how kind he was. Kudos on your great staff :)
This location has declined. I ordered a salad today on the app and it wasn’t ready after 15 minutes. Then I got home to find there was no dressing. The time before I ordered a salad and nacho basket. My order wasn’t ready when I arrived 20 minutes after placing my order on the app. when I asked the girl she checked and said it would be another 10 minutes for the nacho basket. How long does it take to scoop rotel dip into a bowl? They obviously don’t pay attention to their app orders.
We used to frequent this location a lot during the week after a long shift when Id be too tired to make dinner. Lately the curbside pick up is taking longer and longer. What was 5-8min is now turning into 10-12min of waiting in the car then 10-15min waiting at the take out desk while no one knows where the order is. Today I watched 7 people over a period of 24min get their to-go orders and leave after we had already made our order, waited 12min, then drove up to the location. It’s maddening when you have family in the car and everyone is sitting and whining and waiting
Need more employees. Short staffed long wait, bathrooms were disgusting and overflowing. Half the restaurant had unbussed tables waiting to get cleaned. Was one of the most memorable dining experiences I’ve had in a while for the wrong reasons.
Wow. Not sure what is going on with this location. We won’t be returning. What started off as a nice visit quickly went downhill.Ordered at the counter at 11:30am not busy at all. Sat down, waited and waited. A few other people sat down at tables and received their food with minutes. After waiting a little bit longer I inquired about our order. The woman at the front said, “it’s because you ordered a kids pizza, those take awhile.” That’s fine, I understand, but maybe mention that upon ordering? Just a thought. Then, five or so minutes later we were approached and told that our order was lost. Then it randomly showed up, and the order was wrong. We had to send back a plate, it was served cold (soup, had been sitting). As we left I waited up front to get a drink refill for a few minutes (not busy) staff was too busy talking and chatting to help customers who were waiting for drinks. One woman stood next to me with her bowl of soup, something must of been wrong it. I had to interrupt someone so that I could ask for tea. Staff seemed to interested in socializing to help the front counter. Manager didn’t seem to care or notice anything that was going on.
Don't waste your time calling your order in ahead. I legit called in 1 grilled chicken salad 20 min in advance. They didn't even start it until I got there. The time in my receipt was the time I got there not the time I called it in. Stood in the lobby 10 mins waiting for a salad I had called in 20 mins prior. What a joke!
