The steak was badly burned, the meager shrimp and grits was priced $4.00 higher than the best seafood restaurants in Texas. The local soft drinks are awful. the two persons in our group of 7 who had burgers were not unhappy, the other 5 were.
The food was excellent. We split a 20 oz Ribeye special which was cooked perfectly. The atmosphere was casual and relaxed. The staff was awesome. The tables were spread comfortably. The restaurant was not noisy like many are, which made conversation easy. Price for our table of four was approximately $240 plus tip. We choose some of the more expensive items from the dinner menu and had cocktails and dessert as well. We will return to try more from the menu.
Love everything so far, food and service, at brunch, lunch or dinner.First time trying beef marrow bones was at Local Yocal. It was delish!My favourites were Smoked Pork Chop and Golf Shrimp and Grits. Husband loved their Hamilton Burger.Can't wait to go back again!

Been twice and can't wait to go back. The BBQ is great, along with the smoked pimento cheese and amazing smoked garlic mashed potatoes. Bourbon selection is better than any restaurant in the area, and the local beer taps were solid too!
This place is amazing! Super clean, comfortable lighting and atmosphere, friendly wait staff, cleanest restroom I've seen in a restaurant in a very long time and the food was flipping fantastic!I got their brand new chicken sandwich with house made chips
Visited for a business dinner. We had Jalapeño cornbread, pimento dip, brisket mac and cheese (pictured) and beets with goat cheese for apps. Ordered the protein bowl with grilled chicken (pictured). Everything was delicious would recommend for nice company or family style dinner.
