Had quite literally the worst dine-in experience of my life so far here. I work next door, so my husband, my friend, and her husband decided to have a breakfast double date before I had work at 11:30am. We got there at 9:30am, it wasn’t very busy yet. It took a couple mins for drinks, which is fine, I work in serving so I understand. The waiter, Micah, seemed like a nice dude - except he forgot to ring in our order for over an hour, he blamed the kitchen and that he lost our order sheet. We only ordered pancakes and eggs basically. I spoke with the manager after another 30 minutes (11am at this point), apologized cause I don’t like being a bothersome customer and told him what happened and that I had work soon. The manager said he’d “get our food” but then the food came out at 11:20am, undercooked and sorry. I felt bad for the waiter, cause I genuinely think it was an accident and he didn’t mean to mess up, but we weren’t offered anything in return for the mess up, no discount or apology from the manager, mostly just brushed off. We got up and left cause I had work at 11:30am, explained to the waiter, we weren’t paying cause we didn’t even get to eat any of the food. I ended up having to the serve my own friends and husband at my job since they were hungry. This place seems to lack proper management and training. This isn’t the first time I’ve been served badly at this location.
What happened? This place was never “oh my!” amazing, but never “OH MY!” angrily. Service was slightly below par from the usual, but nothing horrible… until the lipstick on my coffee mug, the crud all over our silverware… a different server for another table about to roid rage at a coworker, cook verbally unhappy with what my wife ordered (he was talking to our actual server). To avoid being sick, we had to leave just after getting my non lipstick stained coffee mug. It wasn’t busy. They’ve always been just right for comfort food. I felt bad we left like that. But this time was just nasty… and possibly not safe (physically and biologically). I may try again in a few months if the craving comes and I’d like to change the one star to their typical 3-4. It was so incredibly dirty (and cranky) though… I had to write something.
First time here, and we was sitted quickly to our booth. The waiter Ray was very kind with a smooth laid-back attitude in a positive way. Ray was very patient with us as we finally decided on what we wanted to order. He was very knowledgeable with the Menu, and our food came out fast. It was hot, delicious, and I will be back!#OneOfMyMother'sDayGift's
I'm going to start by saying that I went at 3:00 a.m. It was a wait for a seat. But, let me add that they did absolutely everything they could to take care of everyone. High five to the servers who were clearly working hard, but maintaining their composure. Our server was quick to get our orders and it really didn't take long to get our food, despite the late rush. I'd go again. Easily!
Saw all the recent one star reviews. The place was empty just before 8 PM on a Wednesday. The food was perfect. The cheeseburger, fries, pancakes, hash browns, eggs and toast were cooked beautifully and delicious. Our server was attentive, friendly and professional. The place was clean on this night. Thank you for a delicious and amazing experience!
Had a horrible experience here tonight. It seems like every time we go it gets worse so we are done with this place and I plan to share with other so they don’t have to feel the same. When we first walked in and the server was at the front desk cussing about some kids in the restaurant we should have walked out but we thought maybe he was having a bad day because we all do sometimes! The manager walked by us 4 times while waiting to be seated and the server sharing his opinion with us never sat us. It took about 10 minutes to be seated. We sit down .. another 15 minutes and no word from anyone so I stopped the manager to see if we were going to be served and he replied with yes and keeps walking. Finally we get waited on … the girl walks up and says do you know what you want?…. Again why didn’t we just walk out. But again she needs a job and maybe she just isn’t a people person. She walks into the kitchen playing with her braid complaining that she was having to wait on us. The food came out wrong but she never came to the table to see.. one of our orders was all you can eat pancakes and he was never offered more. So now we are done eating, no sign of the waitress since she took our order (someone else brought it to the table). 20 minutes waiting on our ticket. I get it if they are busy but I watched them stand and visit and play with their hair and on their phones so that wasn’t the case. We tried after a bad experience last time but now we are done. I’ll drive any distance to never go to this place again. Oh.. the food was good and came out warm.
The lady who served us, was quite nice and friendly. The food, a toasted, double sandwich (in this case with chicken /bacon as they had run out of turkey) was also very nice. However, we found the place not clean at all. The inside windows were all dirty and here and there was empty stuff on the floor. The overall impression was not good. The place should be maintained better, get some light paint or what....
Always loved iHop, but this location is exceptional. The server we had was on the ball and attentive to our needs. He even brought a free order of hash browns to my wife because her hamburger took a little longer than expected. Very satisfying experience and we will definitely be going back.
Our waitress was awesome. Food was good and served quickly. Order was accurate. It's been awhile since I've eaten at an IHOP and I was impressed. We ate late after returning from out of town.
Service was terrible and it wasn't busy at all. Half of the staff was sitting over by the order screen talking. Over-easy eggs still had a bunch of raw, uncooked egg white. We requested extra crispy hash browns and of course, they came out cooked hardly brown at all. Thank God for ketchup ?
