I was excited to try this place out, based on the stellar reviews. The restaurant is unkempt, filthy carpet, boothes in disrepair. Staff is very young, kitchen staff is basically teenagers that have absolutely no idea about kitchen standards and procedures. Four teenagers were in the kitchen " playing chef". I was very uncomfortable trying to decide if I should place an order. I value my well-being too much to risk an unsavory outcome. The reviews are completely misleading!

I visited my daughter in Plano and ate here. She just moved to the area so had never eaten here. We entered and the waitress/cashier just stared at us as we stood waiting for some sort of instructions. Finally, she cleared some tables and we asked if we could sit down and she told us we had to order at the counter in the back of the restaurant before we sat. A little greeting would have been helpful. The food was good, but the little pizza rack was weirdly sticky/greasy so it felt unclean.

First time eating here. It's a small place and they are still social distancing, but we were able to get a table. Very busy! We got the medium kitchen sink pizza and cinnamon ugly bread. Both were delicious. The staff was very friendly and the manager/owner was fun. He kept checking on his customers and cutting up with us. It was a great experience. Want to go back and try other items on the menu.

Wow... With over 500+ reviews for a local pizza place, I was hesitant to believe Durkins could live up to the hype. The owner, was actually there and is not your typical Mom & Pop local restaurant. But I was skeptical the Pizza could live up to being one of highest rated restaurants in this part of town... I Was Wrong... This is by far the best pizza your going to find in Collin County (maybe in Texas)... Everything was just right on both pizzas (basic pepperoni & pepperoni/veggie). Sauce, Cheese, Meat & Crust was all perfect, made fresh and piping hot... I opted to pick it up vs dropping off, as I didn't want to risk the pizza being not as fresh as possible with delivery....FIVE STAR PIZZA, Best in Frisco, McKinney & Allen by FAR...

Walked in, ordered a calzone with Canadian bacon, mushrooms and black olives.Wow this was good. The calzone was cooked perfectly, golden brown, buttery crust, full of flavor and thoroughly cooked. Will visit again, worth trying out. Way better than Pizza hut or Dominoes.

Thought this would be just another pizza, I was very wrong! Crushed my expectations. Fresh ingredients, excellent pizza excellent toppings I will definitely be back again and again. You owe it to yourself to check it out, you will be impressed.

Very friendly staff. Best pizza I have had in TX so far. I highly recommend getting extra sauce.

Went to Durkin’s after the snow storm, it was the only restaurant open and the service was incredible! Everyone was so nice and the food was amazing! 10/10 recommend.

The cheesy bread was fine. The Greek salad was fine. The calzone was disgusting (oily, mostly bread, a few toppings missing). When I called and spoke to a manager, she told me “if it’s a reoccurring thing, don’t order the calzone anymore. I won’t be ordering anything from here anymore… Durkins just sucks…

Great local pizza place! The crust is special, Durkin is an awesome guy, and they focus on doing a few things very well.
