We've eaten at Benny's Cafe several times--EVERYTHING that we've tried from the menu is delicious. I can't pick a favorite because they're all my favorites. The last couple of times we've had Lauren as our waitress. Best waitress ever. She's very attentive and personable. Always has a smile on her face! When we spoke with the Mary (the manager) to put in a good word for Lauren, she said she had called Lauren at midnight and asked her to come in that day on her day off. You would have never known it because of Lauren's cheerful attitude. I highly recommend this place.
That was some great food! Even the grits were creamy and well done! A hearty and comfortable place to have a meal with family!
Enjoyed breakfast here. They have a wide variety of breakfast options. I loved the various selections and enjoyed the the latte and cappuccino even better. It wasn't too hot, just the right temperature to soothe and wake me up. The classic crepe and meat lovers omelet was well cooked. My spouse and I enjoyed our meals. The only thing we didn't care for was the side of fruit we asked for. While it was crunchy, it wasn't delicious fruit. I thought the Cantaloupe would be sweet, but it wasn't. Overall, because of the variety of menu items they have, I'll be going back for more.
Checked out this "local gem" and left thoroughly disappointed. We arrived early for breakfast (7am) on 4/22. The host took our order and the food wasn't ready even by 8am. We had to leave and asked they make it "To-Go". On returning home, one of the orders was totally wrong. Instead of Chicken Fried Chicken, they gave us Chicken Fried Steak. We called up the host, who offered to refund the wrong order. We never got our money back. Will keep away from this shady business.
Make this your new thing!! Benne’s delivers an exceptional café experience! There menu offers limitless breakfast and lunch options. This isn’t your everyday, average quality, average service café! The food is always cooked to perfection and delivered promptly by warm, friendly people who clearly desire to deliver the dining experience we expect and deserve. There staff will treat you like family even on your first visit. Thank you Lauren for the best family dining experience in a long time!
We would give this place 10 stars if we could. Not only was the food good but the service was amazing! Our waitress Mary/Song was probably the very best waitress we’ve ever had at any restaurant. We were a group of 7 and every person couldn’t get over how fabulous she was. Thank you for being so amazing and so polite!
I have been to this place nearly every day for the past couple of months and have loved it ever since. This place has the best staff also you can get along with everyone. But one of the best waitresses I have to talk about is Mary she always gets things done quick. Definitely recommend this place.
One of the best places I've been to! The food is delicious and the service was amazing. Marry was very hospitable and made sure our food came exactly like we wanted. I would definitely go back!
food was disappointing, the hash browns where way under cooked it was still cold in the middle. bacon was burned and the very berry crepes where not as expected the strawberries where not fresh and blueberries where tart way waaaay tart... don't think I would reccomend this place to anyone prices where not that bad,food was not great or even okay. my waiter never asked if i needed a refill and when i asked for my tab she took 10 minutes to bring it and another 15 to come and take my payment... Hope this was helpful to you all....
Fantastic food. The prices were a little above average but it was still really good eating. Modern and laid back atmosphere. Would recommend, and will be back.
