My friend and I ran into this place in downtown McKinney before our pottery class and we were glad that we did. The staff were very nice and welcoming, and the gentleman on the piano sounded as if he belonged in an orchestra. We went for a wine tasting and the bullberry wine was the best!

Friendly staff, excellent wine and a small, but flavorful food menu. It’s my go to date night spot for my wife and I.

Such a nice, laid back environment for meeting with friends and family. And I can't say enough about the wine - so many good wines! I have my favorites but I think you should go and find your own. The staff will take good care of you too.
We've been twice now. As a craft beer brewer myself, the best compliment I can receive in this market, with so many choices is, "I'll have your beer again." Well, my wife and I went back for more wine. In fact, we joined their loyalty club. No membership fees, we just are committed to buying 3 bottles of wine, every 3 months, but at a 20% discount. We also get 15% off all other purchases, and some other great benefits you can ask the staff about. I like dry whites, so the Roussanne is my favorite. My wife prefers sweet whites, so she loves the Nectar Nero. The bartenders are friendly and knowledgeable without being pushy. The atmosphere is laid back and relaxed. As the food goes, the flat bread pizzas and charcuterie boards provide a salty, savory balance to the wines and are of the highest quality. If you live in, or are visiting the McKinney area, we can't recommend 4R highly enough. Cheers.
