This bar was different from all the bars located on the downtown strip. I went on a Saturday night and when you first walk in you aren't greeted with blasting music or a young group of 21 year olds trying to get crazy on shots. It was really nice.If you wanna hear some music you can walk to the back outdoor area that has live music and a two story seating area. The music played was a lot of guitar hero hits. Definitely a 90s to 2010s rock scene. Also, they serve pizza which is awesome. If you don't want to listen to music you can go and shoot pool they have on the left side of the indoor bar.
I've been coming to this place for years and I've always had a great time. However on Saturday the 16th, the singer of their cover band, Fernie, made some very ableist remarks on stage. He said he didn't have downs syndrome and then carried on to make "hurr durr" noises into the mic for like 5 minutes. I'd like to think these views do not reflect on the bar, but given that he felt comfortable enough to behave that way in the first place makes me believe otherwise.
Its a good bar club but everything is so overpriced and the artist they have suck and so do the judges they hire to rate them

Great bartender! The owners were right on time hiring that guy. Had a great time with me and my wife. Shout out to vampire be there for a little flip! 23! Houston Texas bound recommend this bar and club to anybody. If you ever in the valley.. me and my wife are so happy!

Hands down the best bar in McAllen to have a good time. Staff is friendly, drinks are priced well, and the music is always good, especially live music. Highly recommend.
