This place is so worth it. The server was very nice and helpful. The food was so flavorful and they are generous with their portions. The dining area is so clean and beautiful ,including the bathroom. I really enjoyed my lunch and will be coming back again!
Great place to hang out with some beer and tacos. The tacos are really solid, maybe not the best in the valley but definitely worth the try. The great thing about the place is the back beer garden. I'm not sure I'd consider it a beer garden, but it is a great place to have some tacos and a beer. Feels removed from the city, and the picnic table style set up is perfect for a group of friends just hanging out.
The Best Tacos of the Valley!! Of Texas even!!! Can’t ask for a better place to go and have a great time with friends and family! Service was amazing, everyone attentive and kind. Highly recommend the Sampler Deluxe, you get a bit of everything. We surely had an amazing time here at Tacos El Plebe, we’ll be coming back soon!’!
We loved the atmosphere of this place and the music was great! The food was delicious and the tacos were so soft and flavorful! We are totally going back and recommending this place to everyone we know.
Came to order food to go and didn't know what to expect. I parked where the building portion was located and was a little taken back that there wasn't a typical cash register set up inside, just seating area. I proceeded to the back area where I saw a nice outdoor set up and food truck. Also saw I could've parked on the side of the building and entered through the outside, which would have been easier.As soon as I chose a spot to sit I was greeted by friendly wait staff. They have a QR menu to order off of so be advised. The food was fantastic, not too greasy. I ordered the sampler combo because I couldn't decide on one taco type. I highly recommend this place.
Best…. Tacos,… in the RGV! We got greeted by i believe the owner, they offered the sampler for first timers, and they did not disappoint! The “mamalones” frijoles rancheros were delicious, the baked potatoe, everything. Friendly staff, and they also have a button on the table, for if you need assistance from a waiter, honestly we didn’t need to use it! Highly recommend this place!
They have great attentive staff. The place is clean and conducive to a relaxed comfortable experience. They have Mexican glass bottle drinks. The complimentary beans were flavorful although a bit salty (personal preference). Ordered the combo with assorted tacos. All of the meats were chopped very finely, so much so, that it could be anything. The tacos are very generously filled. Although the meat is seasoned it felt that something was missing. Not sure if the fact that the meat was so finely chopped took away from being able to discern texture and associate it with a known food. The salsas were okay; just felt they lacked spice or something to differentiate from the next. All in all a positive experience however not sure I'd choose to go back just for the food. However, I could see myself going back to hang out with friends after hours, which seems to be the vibe they were going for.
By far one of the cutest outdoor places to go with the family and enjoy the most delicious tacos! We had a small party here for my daughters 8th birthday (yes, she picked the place herself) and we had our space reserved and even though the business was still open for public too that never caused any trouble for us, we had our own waiters designated just for us, always taking care of all our party. The food is delicious! so that’s a given why we even had the party here and the ambience is just so lovely and cozy. Best street tacos in the RGV !!! They recommended the sampler deluxe and wow! That is some authentic flavor! The staff was super friendly and the outdoor patio was super cute.
Yesterday was my first time going to El Plebe and they did not disappoint. The outdoor theme was very welcoming and the waitstaff was great even with the high amount of traffic they had, me personally working at a restaurant understand the importance of keeping multiple customers happy at once (which let me tell you is not an easy task )but the waitstaff here was great and they accomplished that. The food was phenomenal!!! Tacos were filled to the brim with meat and the beans were in a league of their own. I got the sampler as recommended by my waitress since I had never been , I was able to taste each taco and the asada was my favorite. I will definitely be coming back again and again
