Went to get lunch today had a palenque bowl which ive never tried before, i asked for chicken instead of fajita, unfortunately they barely put any chicken in it. It was practically a 10 dollar bowl of beans and rice wth, the panchos also barely had meat on them it was all chips and cheese sauce. It took a long time to get them so they were already soggy, to be honest we didn't even eat them. I usually stop here often but today was not a good experience at all.
Today I visited to have my lunch. OlI ordered a chicken fajita taco and a diet coke. With a great surprise, they offered me another taco for free. It was a nice gesture for an international student who barely understands the español. I felt at home in that place. However, it was my first visit to this place. For sure, it is not gonna be the last one. Impressive!!!
Taco Palenque is and continue as the best place for Mexico style food in the McAllen, Pharr, Mission area !!I love the tortillas any of both styles and even love more the rice and beans, are just ? !!And last but not least, no matter if you choose beef or chicken fajita, is the same good flavor and taste every single day !!!A recent update on the 10th street location. Kids playground is no more (could be because the obvious reasons)

I made a diet conscious (keto) selection, a fajita taco wrapped in lettuce at the suggestion of the gentleman taking my order and. Now hooked on it. It was so delicious and guilt free. ??
Terrible service. There has been several times that I order on the app and we get to pick up the food and the food is not ready and it come out later than the time expected. Not only is it not ready, but they manage to mess up the orders. At the drive thru this morning we waited over ten minutes only to see an employee come out and give the food to the vehicle behind us. Would not recommend anyone go this location.
First time stopping at this location and I was please. Great breakfast tacos. I received my food in a timely fashion and i was good. I will definitely return. Keep up the good work Taco Palenque.
Great fajita plate; courteous counter service; clean dining area,and helpful dining area service. All at a great price. I go to Taco Palenque for good Mexican food all the time.
Love the casero tacos and flan. The service is always great. Check your order when in drive thru, they get busy and unfortunately tend to make small mistakes. Quality of food is very good.
