Staff is friendly,But ,yes, but.In and out traffic is horrible at the entrance.#No Sugar-free syrup,Keep saying they ordered it.It's important for people who are diabetic.#2.The shots in the Americano or lattes have been on the weak side. I don't know if they're skipping a shot to compared to the one on 10th Street.#3Bad design on Drive through wndow traffic blocking the entrance into the plaza is horrible .I have contacted the McAllen City traffic zoning department.After being told by the manager for months that the corporate office already knew about it and we're going to fix it, nothing has been done,This is bad for emergency vehicles or other people who need to get in and out quickly
Although they did take a long time to attend us via drive thru, you can't go wrong with a Starbucks
Always clean and organized, busy but well run location, drive through line always goes out onto roadway as there aren't any starbucks in mission TX, this is closest. I always park and go in
The young lady at the register had excellent customer service skills. I didn't catch her name. Despite this location being absurdly busy for 1020am on a Thursday, she kept a smile, offered an apology and even a refund when I returned the new Toasted Vanilla Oat Espresso for tasting too much like a candle and asked for a plain coffee replacement.I declined her kind offer. Although I know it use to be company policy to replace drinks, it didn't seem right for me to get a refund for not liking my choice (product was still used). I'm sure my story and this review would have been different if I wasn't offered.Just a example how good customer service can go a long way. And, she exemplified how it IS possible, despite how busy you are, to be kind, considerate, and have good service skills at work.Thank you to this location staff ??
Picture this: It's 11:59 PM, Starbucks is about to close, and Here I roll up in the drive through. "Sorry sir but At this time we're closed" screams the speaker at me. In the background I can hear her; "no, I got this one. I love my job, and my destiny is to Readily serve coffee to my community." It was almost As if an angel had spoken from the clouds, if the clouds were 3 feet to My right inside a screen promoting this seasons pumpkin spice latte. She asked me how she could BE of service. I told her all I wanted was a medium coffee. "Did you mean grande?" how could I forget all those spanish classes in high school. Yes, yes grande.By the time It took me to get to the window, it was made. to say I was impressed by her speed is a Severe understatement. She greeted me with a smile warmer than an august sunset. the nametag read Joally. Joally was there for me Like the caretaker I never had. She could have pushed me Over to the curb 4 minutes earlier (metaphorically), but she chose to serve her job, her community, her country with Valor. Joally didn't know my Ex girlfriends cousins pet chachalaca had just died mid-migration and I would have to drive 12 agonizing hours to heartbrokenly retreave the body. She didn't care. We need more people in this world like her. Bless you, Joally, wherever you are.
Great business. These workers deserve a bigger store for all of the orders coming in! Starbucks is over working their staff. Be patient when going here. Its always beyond packed.
When you arrive, you are greeted by the worst-configured parking lot for a high-traffic food service location. The bathroom had no soap and no paper towels (apparently, hand washing is optional for employees and customers and there is no such thing as COVID-19). Tonight, there are no napkins, either. There are lots of Starbucks that are just fine to patronize; this isn't one of them.

Service was horrible! I said my order four times at the drive through speaker only to be told to order at the window, pulled to the window to order and had to repeat my order three times because the barista couldn’t repeat it as i ordered. I received my coffees, with none of them being correct, Three Vanilla Cream Cold brews WITH sweet cold foam, none of them had sweet cold foam, and they taste like straight dark roast. My reminder to continue supporting small businesses.
