Yes, they have Diet Coke fountain. Their floors however are messed up, some kind of cushion material that's ugly. The food was good, the company was better. A retired couple from La Joya, who visit McAllen just to eat there. Ultimately the food was good, although they need to renovate the restaurant. When we were leaving the place was empty.
Place was dirty, floors were nasty and sticky, grill was dirty, the cook was touching his money before he started cooking, the cook dropped his knife and continued to use it. Food was not good and you could taste the ugly Burnt stove top. This was my first time here and I had always wanted to try this place out but I definitely should have stayed away
great place for a dinner or meet up for a family dinner, best if u go with more the 6ppl so u dont have to share a table
We enjoyed our Japanese Steakhouse experience tonight. The prepared food was AWESOME. Soup had a nice flavor with green onion & mushrooms. Best fried rice in a long long while. Manager was making rounds & kept every glass full. My hubby & I did the dinner for two. Steak shrimp & chicken. Yum. And we had a cute show which I videoed, for a memory because we brought our family here from Ohio. We honestly hoped it would be good, we were NOT disappointed for sure. Only con: The salad comes with dressing and it was a little heavy on salad dressing for some members of our crew. Our next time just ask for lightly dressed in advance. And there will be a NEXT TIME for sure.
I love this restaurant so much! I've been coming here for years and stopped in again while visiting family. The cooks are fun and always make tasty food and the restaurant is clean, you always see staff cleaning! See ya next year, Shogun!
The food and cook were pretty good, buuuuttttttt, the first we noticed was the host up front who seemed very bothered. Next, we waiting quite some time to get our food.The place needs a HUGE upgrade. From the floors to the vents, this place can really use a makeover. There were times were the smoke was quite heavy that it burned to breathe.
Love Shogun food its always good and great service I think the place needs better Air filters to clean the restaurant but the food its delicious.
It's an old school eating place that has been part of McAllen for years but a 2 for it seriously needs to be torn down and rebuilt back up. Food is a 3/4. Great service though.
