Great place to get breakfast tacos! We tried the chorizo & bean and babacoa tacos. Warning, go early especially Saturday morning, they were slammed. Because the gentleman taking my order was running around trying to keep up with the orders along with all the other hard workers, he charged me wrong according to their menu. If you order 3 of the same tacos make sure they charge you the right price. After bringing it to his attention he made it right and refunded me the money.

Sometimes simple is better. Really good breakfast tacos always. Of course carne quisada tacos are good meat is tender and not fat pieces everybody hates to bite into.BUT best to order from there rather large menu inside. So much to chose from. Any chicken quisadas this time were really good at a real good price. Two ? thumbs ? up.

Specifically went to Ms. G's Tacos n' More on a recent trip to the RGV, as I was a regular fan of El Pato, back in the late 80s. The location on Pecan @ N 23rd St is almost a throwback to the similar El Pato original locations, before Mrs. Gonzales sold the name (but NOT the recipes)!! ?? I was very pleasantly surprised to find that the daughter and the employees have a very healthy portion of a keto friendly option of 3 huevos revueltos y (tocina, jamon o salchicha) (scrambled eggs and bacon, ham or sausage); no tortillas, as they are not on the keto low carb plan! As a low carb enthusiast, this was an excellent option. ? After years of breakfast tacos at the original El Pato, I am a Carne guisada y queso die hard fan. Ms. G's met the bar in this category too. Finally my friends tried some lighter options of bean, lettuce, tomato and cheese Chalupas; we all went away very satisfied from our culinary stop at Ms. G's Tacos n' More. I will add that the ladies working there shared some very pleasant memories of days gone by and the extensive menu options @ El Pato. Back in the lates 80s Mrs. Gonzales would serve literally ANYTHING on a tortilla, including peanut butter and jelly!! Ms. G's Tacos n' More will be a new favorite stop on return visits to McAllen.

Ms. G's Tacos are definitely a must go spot. I remember being 5yrs old - my father would always take us here. This is the original "El Pato" but the owner sold off the name- not the recipes. The daughter of Ms. G runs this place in Mcallen and her brother runs the one in Grapevine, TX near Dallas-Fort Worth. Food is delicious and most importantly authentic ? ?. The whole menu is off the chain but Carne guisada plate is my all time favorite with guacamole and them homeade flour tortillas!! The staff is fun, humble and on point with their customer service. ? 100 ?

Mrs. G's tacos many years back where the original owners of El Pato Mexican food her recipes to this day top of the line

The best. This place always puts a smile on my face. Way better 5han El Pato

Pick up some food at GS chicken plate and taco beans and eggs and they gave me a beef taco but it's was good thanks be back soon

Toasted whole wheat flour tortilla w carné guisada, cheese and avocados pato. The real kind from back in the day. Picking up our family and friends at the airport for decades. Noticed almost invariably consistently meant going for patos. These are still the ones.

1st time visiting establishment. Delicious food. Generous portions in my tacos. Friendly staff. Overall enjoyable experience.
