Pros- Waiter was great! Always had our cups filled and was very nice. Baked ziti was pretty good. Cons- Shrimp Alfredo was bland and watery. We killed two small cockroaches at our table. We could see more roaches hiding behind the booth cushion.
I took my son for pizza at the Pasta Co. Located on 10th St. It's in the strip mall that is just south of Trenton next to Whataburger. When you walk in this place you can't help but notice the huge pizza oven, and the yummy aroma of freshly made pizza. Once seated we ordered our drinks and fried cheese as a starter. My son and I started looking at the menu, we almost changed our minds on pizza. There were some very good pasta dishes to choose from, the Fruit de Mari really caught my eye on the menu and even more when it majestically passed by on the way to a table behind us. Anyways, our large pillows of fried cheese arrived along with free garlic knots, but before we started eating, we ordered a Gourmet meat pizza and traditional buffalo wings. I also ordered a Caesar salad to eat with my pizza. We enjoyed the fried cheese, the sauce, and the portion size. Our pizza arrived in a timely manner and looked awesome. The first bite tells all, and the crunch this had, along with the sauce, meats, and cheese, was singing notes of deliciousness to my taste buds. The wings did take a minute but as I was informed, that they are not pre-made like so many wing places. Honestly, what a great difference fresh wings made to order taste like. The owner stopped by to say hi, we started talking about lasagna, and the next thing I know, he's bringing me a sample to try. I am so glad we chose lasagna to talk about. Also I want to mention that the service was outstanding and our server was so professional in mannerisms, this really made a difference in our total dining experience. I can't wait for my next visit, I'll take my wife next time and have the pasta.
The food was good, but we were disappointed that they were out of several things such as lemonade and some desserts. The ambience was nice, the service was ok. I feel like they were trying, but not genuine if that makes sense. I've tried the lasagna, tagliatelle Alfredo, and the baked ziti. Baked ziti is, hands down, my favorite!! You must try it. The tiramisu was perfect in taste and texture. ? Delicious!I'm sure I'll be back to try and get that last star for the 5.
Excellent food, wine and service. We had no recommendation, but we were blessed to find this gem while passing through town. The waiter was worth the trip alone. What a great guy. I wish we could have this place close to us and be regulars!
We were coming to town on our way elsewhere and I found this restaurant online two hours before arriving. We craved Italian and we scored big. The Italian food was great, the wine excellent, the waiter even better than both. What a nice way to be welcomed to McAllen. We occasionally find these treasures and it's so memorable.
Excellent food and Service.
DELICIOUS!!! Great tasting & filling Italian food. The Calzone & Stromboli's are huge!!
I ordered to go (curbside order), as soon as I opened the to go box it looked like it was just thrown in there with no care. The food had zero taste, and I've tasted better frozen box food. My girlfriend's order was the same. The chicken was like rubber and had a strange after taste. Maybe dining in is best but I would expect the food to taste well regardless. The pictures caught my attention, but other than that I'm not impressed. Was really disappointed. Waste of money.
Loved the noodles!!! We live for pasta and this was on point!!! Meatballs were delicious and the service was awesome and very polite. Will def come back.
Delicious food. Great service. Love the Ravioli Carbonara, and the Tiramisu was some of best I’ve tasted. Five ?????
