I would give it about 3.5 stars compared to other restaurants. Some things are very good like the fried shrimp and tres leches and other things should be better like the fajita botana, it needs to be more fresh with hot fajitas not luke warm. Frozen margaritas are watered down due to the ice machine they use, not a dedicated Margarita machine.

This Valentine's Day was my first time coming here. I loved it. The service was amazing, our waiter made sure to check in on my friends and I during the exact moment we needed him. The place is gorgeous, definitely fit for a date night. Only issue here was my specific plate. I love panchos (I get them anywhere I go), and while they were good, I found myself wanting more fajita. There didn't seem much of it. They also didn't have seafood at the time we went for dinner so that was pretty inconvenient but other than that, it was great. I will definitely be trying it out again.

Great place to dine. My wife and I just moved here to the RGV from California. The RGV is awesome. The people here are so friendly and welcoming. My brother in law took my wife (brother in law's sister) and I to this restaurant. Great food with great service. The plates were large and reasonably priced.Great alcoholic beverages. Unfortunately, I didn't take any pictures of our great meals. Next time I go, I will definitely get photos.Try this place out. You will be happy you did.

It's quit sometime I've stopped here and believe me it was worth it. The food was good and great service. Not one complaint. ?Great combo plate ever, Sirloin & Enchiladas Plate!

Ordered a sombrero plate for one ($15.00) chicken & beef fajita mixed with rice, beans and a side salad. Got a plate full of onion and white cheese.Over-priced!Management was not helpful at all.

Ask for the beef plates. Most tender cuts you'll ever find. Personally feel the service is very good. I went to Jr High with the Rosales brothers. Their family has been serving the rgv for many years.

Food reminded me of Mom’s cooking. Great rice, charro beans flavorful homemade flour tortillas and Pollo asado was delicioso Wish a restaurant was in Houston. It would be my favorite Mexican food restaurant.

Their botanas have gotten horrible. The chips are half covered with cheese or beans. Most chips are usually burnt and when we brought the issue to the attention of the mgr, we were told it was how they make them. We’ve eaten there for several years and the botana is just not the same anymore. Decided to go back to give the place another chance and it was the worse experience by far. We waited about an hour for the food. Guac never came and when it finally did, we had eaten all the chips and salsa and had requested more 15 mins earlier. We waited after asking several people for chips but nothing came. Finally waitress came and asked if we needed chips for the guac….we all sat there staring at each other wondering if she was joking. Food came and it was wrong. They finally brought extra salsa and they were going to adjust the cost of the extra plate that came but then charged us for it. It was a MESS. We talked to the manager who then got into a discussion with the waitress with everyone around and told her she’d pay for the mistakes and at that point we were done. We paid the bill and told them we would NEVER eat there again. Sad to see how service and food quality has gotten worse over time. Never again….

We came here for lunch and it was awesome. We started with the queso flameado. I ordered their beef fajita enchiladas. Awesome flavor. My coworker ordered their pollo de carbon. It was a huge piece of chicken.I am from our of town and I would eat here again.

first time there & really enjoyed the great service from our waitress & food was great!
