Very displeased with the service at this establishment. Understaffed location, no consideration to their customers. We waited for a table that they said would be a 10 min wait, when they had an available table already, that wasn’t cleaned and had been unoccupied for many minutes. When we were seated, other customers who had arrived after us were seated promptly, waiter was inattentive and got our sauces wrong. Wait time for our food was long. Overall experience was horrible. It’s no wonder they have a hiring job sing in the front. Management needs to be fired. What kind of restaurant are you running ????

It was good honestly but there was drama happening while I was there so that kinda made me feel uncomfortable while I was eating but the waiter was so nice to us and gave us our food quick

Kobore roll is delicious. We also love the mixed sunomono salad (a cucumber salad with mixed seafood and a sweet&smoky vinaigrette.

I went to go have dinner there with my wife. New manager Crystal has done a great job to the establishment. I can tell the difference. Service seemed more efficient but did not feel rushed. Bar drinks came to table a bit faster and delicious. Even from the moment we walked in we got immediate attention from the staff. We will be returning more often now. I have always been a fan of kumoris food but service hasn't been to par till now. Thank you Crystal hope to see you soon.

Our roll got to the table after our meal and the rice was supper cold on our plate and chicken on plate was tiny scattered pieces dry and no flavor. Cucumber salad was cut in supper long pieces hard to eat when it used to be in small pieces before like shredded! Not going back! So disappointed!

Took my son out for a great lunch at Kumori. The food was delicious! About an hour after we left my son noticed he was missing his ear bud. We went back to Kumori and the staff was kind enough to go out of their way to help us find it. Thank you so much Isaiah, his manager Herman and the rest of the staff for going above and beyond serving great food. We are forever thankful. Always a favorite place for good food and definitely won us over that much more now. ❤️✨️✨️✨️✨️✨️

My family and I have been customers of kumori for well over 10 years but this location has just been dropping the ball. Two weeks ago we get raw chicken served. We aren’t very big on complaining but that is just unacceptable. Took a picture and left it at that. Decided to give them another chance and once again the order is completely wrong and we end up getting half the food while having to wait over 20 minutes for the other half. This is after letting the server know about the previous experience.

Dined here for dinner 4/15/22. Arrived at 5:30 and were finally sat around 6:15. This is the worst location I’ve been to thus far for service. We ordered our food at the same time and were finally given the dry, tasteless rice after 30 minutes. My appetizer arrived 40 minutes after being ordered and then our main sushi dishes arrived about an hour after it was ordered. I understand the restaurant dynamic having worked in one for over 10 years and the way I was treated after my meal was laughable. I got my sushi roll and ate two. I got a to-go box for my meal and stupidly left it. I acknowledge this was my fault and turned around and was back in the restaurant in under 5 minutes. They had thrown my roll (you shouldn’t do this, you should ALWAYS hold a to-go food order at least 15 minutes to see if the guest comes back). I asked for the manager to see if they could remake it or remake it a later day for me since I paid and it was almost all left. He dismissed me and got defensive stating “It’s not my fault, you left it here its not our fault.” I never laid blame on him or my server, I acknowledged that it was my mistake. I was appalled that he spoke like that to me and I let him know that in my restaurant, the guest comes first and I would’ve happily remade it for this paying customer. He didn’t care, dismissed me again, and I’d had enough. I didn’t get his name and should’ve but whoever mod was on 4/15/22 at 7:45 p.m., you need a refresher on customer satisfaction and to work on hospitality. I will be contacting Human Resources and finding the district manager. I lost contact with the kind owner years ago and I wish I’d have saved his information to let him know this happened. So, recap1. Waited 40 minutes for an appetizer and an hour for entrees2. Waitress was sweet but never around, had to ask others for drinks and sauces3. Was dismissed and rudely spoken to by the manager on duty

Best food and customer service compared to other locations, I used to eat at the one on 6th and Nolana, but the service there was always terrible and the quality was hit or miss. Been here a few times with my son, and I have not been disappointed.
