I was skeptical back in the day about Pato but now tried recently I'm fan all the way, such a delicious food for the buck, I would love for them to change a bit the daily specials every now and then but other than that this restaurant chain is the absolute best in the valley and they have a killer lemonade...try it out people, you'd never regret it...
Chicken & Rice tacos ? are stacked! It was super filled! I could have just asked for 1 Chicken and Rice with an extra tortilla.Taste like how grandma used to make, with great service too.
Food was hot,place was clean and Alfredo was very nice and also the other person that took my food to table
If it looks like a duck, walks like a duck and quacks like a duck... El Pato ain't authentic Mexican cuisine by a mile. At best, one might describe it as Texan-style Mexican grub. Tex-Mex food. Nowhere in Mexico, and I mean nowhere, do they put Kraft cheese or chili sauce on anything. I've traveled all over that country, and those toppings are mostly scorned if not completely unknown there. Chili, by the way, is a gringo thing and not what Mexicans know by "chile"; something you'd be well advised to remember when ordering a meal south of the border. However, El Pato does have its virtues; more so than Taco Bell, to be sure -- the Rodney Dangerfield of imitation Mexican restaurants. Its menu is true to form, the portions are worthy of a King rancher, and, unlike the clanger, El Pato uses nothing but fresh ingredients. But it still falls short of the intended mark. It does offer a good approximation to the real thing in both flavor and appearance, that I must grant. I'll even admit to have acquired a taste for it. But at the end of the day it ain't as genuine as most people wanna think. Sorry, but if you want REAL Mexican food, you'll need to head for Montezuma's turf.

Fast service, clean tables. Friendly employees. Tacos were great. Will visit again, if in the area. People please clean after yourselves,, works don't need the extra work.
There was a small issue on our order , they made it right right away ..Very professional staff willing to go out of their way to make it right ...They just earned a regular customer..

I had given up on my favorite tacos from El Pato, beef and potatoes. But a couple of days ago I just had to try again. To my surprise, the portion was very generous. The tacos were delicious like before I to my surprise l didn't get any hard meat. Yay. I am definitely going back. North 10 st. Great job chef. One last suggestion, could use fresh potatoes instead of frozen. Thanks.
