It’s definitely not as good as it used to be. This past time I ordered oysters because I was in the mood. After eating two I proceeded to the third, and I saw something black in it. I was going to eat it since oysters can have dark pigmentation on them but once I moved it, I saw a smothered fly. Ruined my appetite completely. Still ate my food and the manager was nice enough to remove my plate, but definitely not a good experience nor did I enjoy my food after that.
We ate here with our staff and family for a Friday Lunch. The atmosphere was good; like you're in a beach town seafood place. It was busy but we got seated in 15 min and we were a large party. The food quality was excellent and service was good.Prices are on the high side so be prepared to splurge. Friendly staff. I would definitely return.
It's been a while since we've been here. My wife's selection was a little salty, my entree was seasoned just right. We both had a cup of soup, I should've opted for the shrimp bisque which is what she had. I had a cup of lobster bisque, lobster was a little rubbery. It was a really busy Friday night. Waitress was nice, but didn't come around that often. Even the people in the other table complained about lack of attention.
This is my 3rd time at this restaurant. I visit my parents that winter in south Texas & they enjoy good seafood. Each visit has deteriorated. Tonight our waiter did not know wine so we assisted him three times with our wine order. Our wait was quite long just to get our drinks. We were told the bartender was serving everyone in the bar area, plus the restaurant’s drink orders as well as the to go orders. That’s too much for 1 person in this establishment. Our soup & salads didn’t arrive at the time we asked and 1 of our entrées came out wrong as well. One of our sides came later and not with our dinner. The fried shrimp was pretty greasy and I squeezed it with my napkin prior to eating. Somehow the waitstaff ran our credit card on another table’s order so we had to get that corrected / sorted out. The manager came out with the corrected tab and offered a free appetizer for our next trip. We declined as we really don’t wish to come back. The manager also stated that they were very short staffed.
Party of six and no one was happy. I ordered the snapper Rockefeller and received the blackened snapper filet. The plate was fine and I was not about to return it based on my disappointment of not receiving the Rockefeller as I was with a group. Requested limes with our waters - we received freeze-dried limes that were dehydrated. Requested a couple of fresh limes cut in half - only to find out, when our checks came, four of us were charged $1.00 and two of us were charged .75 cents - which resulted a group effort of paying $5.50 for two limes.. Also discovered on the bill(s) were $2.00 up charges on two of our bills for having the fish prepared blackened. Even better, one of us received a $2.00 up charge for having the fish grilled. I don’t doubt they’ll charge you for requesting the fish raw as they would have had to keep the fish refrigerated. Thanks to our server, Emily S., we were blind sided by the ridiculous up charges and I appreciate my order being wrong as I was able to taste something other than the Rockefeller. The Rockefeller is seriously delicious, but based on the principle of my last visit - I will never go back to this place. Moral of the story - bring your own limes! SMA Dirty Al!
Waitress was very nice, mixed up the meals on the tickets which resulted in lengthy wait to straighten out tickets because we had 4 couples. The was good but not outstanding. The hostess was very efficient and seated our large group quickly.
The food was fantastic Ihad the special the day my wife and I eat there it was under $10 my wife had the order of butterfly shrimp and fries. The service was excellent at 2:00pm not sure how it is later in the day. Very clean, will definitely be going here again.

Amazing food and atmosphere at decent prices. Also, I highly recommend you request Hope as your waitress! She checked on us multiple times to see how we were doing, if the food was good and if we needed any refills or additional items. My family and I can't wait to come here again!
