Used to frequently eat here years ago. My first time back after covid. Today, it was a big disappointment. Price is up, of course. Quality is way, way down. Everything tastes sweet, sugary, no real Chinese flavor in anything. My family came early, for lunch. Yet most everything, except for the soup, was cold. The broccoli beef had cold, hard broccoli, and pale undercooked "velveted" beef. Yuck. I spit it out in my napkin. The white chicken dish next to it, not sure of its name, same thing, rubbery raw-ish, cold chicken slices, also velveted, with near raw celery...so I ate fried rice, lo mein, and assorted breaded sugared chicken chunks, at least they were cooked. Even the dinner rolls were cold. The soup was more gelatinous and flavorless than ever. Then a family with a cranky toddler was seated next to my table, and I was done.P s :The waitress was nice. The front desk lady was not.

1/5 stars 0 if I could I wanted to sit in the booth an there was plenty open and the mom I'm guessing the owner got so mad at the person sitting me she smacked the receipt book out of his hand and I told her I'm going to sit where I want food bad cold soup has no taste supposed to be probably the worst egg drop I've ever had and I see they went cheap and stuff serving not fried shrimp you can just tell all their portions or just really cheaply made I highly recommend going somewhere else this will be the last time I ever come here. 10.99 with a water it should be more like 6.99 with a water should be the real price

I've been coming here for years. The food, the service, and the hygiene of the place is constantly above 3.5 stars. There are better days than others, but I always leave satisfied. Today was definitely 5/5, will definitely comeback. (P.s. LOVE the rice)

I love coming here!! The workers are very friendly and attentive, the food is usually good and the atmosphere is peaceful

Food is ok but the Chinese female owner is so rude and tried to overcharge me. She didn't want to give me back my change until I demanded it from her. She gave me attitude but did give my change to me. She's so nasty and miserable. Will not be going back cause of her. Everytime I go she's so rude won't even greet you and acts like she doesn't know any English. She's been here alot of years already.

Prices keep going up everytime we go.i asked the owner why ,she pretended that she didnt understand me .i guess she should study in a Language school.food choices are not the same anymore.after “house of china” closed its buffet business, the owner jacked up the prices ,not just due to the pandemic and inflation, but possibly because she is an opportunist.also, the servers do not last long .its possibly they dont get paid well.never leave your gratuity in your credit card.i seriously doubt that they pass it to the servers.will not return .Lin’s and Chinese Sea Buffet have more choices and clean and have the same prices.

Another fine Chinese Buffet.Food was fresh hot and delicious.Salad Bar is Good Very fresh green lettuce not a taint of yellow all salad bar is good.Buffet line is Awesome many foods to choose from.tienen nopalitos tambien. They also have cactus/ nopales very good tasting..

Me and my mother's usual place to order Chinese food in McAllen.

Got here around 11:30 Sunday. The food was hot and fresh. Specifically the shrimp dishes and the mandarin beef. We had just eaten at Landry's at the Riverwalk in San Antonio the week before and the food here was alot better than Landrys. The service here was also excellent as always.

I ate chicken teriyaki it was still undercooked, got the runs, and threw up several times. The owner doesn't believe in giving your money back. They just state,” their food is well cooked have a nice day.” Hangs up on you.How did the city health inspectors accept their service of business? Don't recommend this place.? ?
