I have visited this spot many times over the years, its been great..Tonight was a bad experience, the gm was a joke, instead of handling an error made on their behalf, he made sarcastic remarks against me.New ownership w/new staff, rude af.Definitely will not be back.

So my wife worked here n she was fairly new. They have not updated their prices on their brunch menu and the manager was telling her to sell them at $8 when the menuvsaid $4. So she was trying to explain the prices to a older lady who was mad saying they were $4. Then her manager came up and comped the entire food order and then they had her work an entire shift the next day just to fire her over the comped food order saying she was intoxicated. My guess is the manager robert was too lazy to take the time out of his day to fix the problem and didn't want to explain to the gm why he comped it when there was no reason. I've been with my wife for 14 years and could clearly tell she was not intoxicated at 11 am. So now on mothers day she's just been crying and is out a job n instead of celebrating she's searching for a job all over a manager named Robert who couldn't even stand straight on the job on Cinco de mayo n was hitting on every waitress.
Great drinks and great service. Food is decent. They have live music ?, which is always fun.Will try to come for brunch on the weekend to try their menudo.
Been going to this place since it was Peppers then Newman's, needless to say a long time, now with new management n wait staff the customer service has changed for the worst. Gave the place 5 tries, I literally had to follow the waitresses around to get a drink & the bartenders just ignored & turned away just talking to friends at the bar. I finally decided to speak to a thin bald new manager & pretty much interrupted me and said Bye. What a shame the the owner is oblivious of how his bar is fading. I'll give it a try in year, just cause the place was so much fun for years. It's a shame a few bad apples can rot the rest.
Great place. Good food specials and the drinks are reasonably priced. I had the gumbo, and it was excellent. Aside from that, my server Emily was fast and friendly. Overall, I have had a great time in this bar everytime I've been there and have made some great friends in this place. Totally recommend it

Robert the manager was very rude, lacks social interaction & customer service skills! All people should be treated with the upmost respect, the way he interacted with a female was so disappointing & disrespectful in nature. Other than that one incident the bar has great food & music ?
My go to bar has changed, after all new employees the service has plummeted drastically plus two new a-holes for security guards & bartenders/waitresses that ignore you plus act liked they are bothered when asking them día drink. New management has changed the reason that bar was a regular for so many of us. I have just walked out after sitting n waving for service at the bar, as I did this last Saturday night visit. What a shame.
Horrible experience, servers not attentive but like 1 that we didn’t get to have she was always checking on her tables. Our server barely came up to us. Jackie or whatever her name was. The owner or gm was there drunk super unprofessional. Drinks were okay and the food too. Will not be returning.
