This place deserves more than 5 stars!!! The food was amazing!!! Thanh, our waiter was super attentive and all around wonderful. This was an awesome first experience and we will definitely be back again and again!!!! The crab fries were off the charts! I've never tasted anything so delicious. The shrimp were huge and juicy! Crab legs were great! Lobster tail was my favorite. I highly recommend you to visit this place. You will not be disappointed!!!
Fresh & extensive menu of mostly seafood items (boiled & other entrees). Our family is originally from the New Orleans area so we are picky about our crawfish, and this place did not disapoint! There's a full bar with TVs for people that like to hang out & watch games, fights, etc. This place is local & family owned. They take great care in providing a nice experience, just as if you were visiting their home for dinner.
All around a fantastic place to eat. Service was so friendly from the start, despite how busy it was on a Friday night. When we got there we noticed they might have been understaffed on waitresses, but during the entirety of our visit we didn't notice at all! Our waitress was able to make us feel tended to the entire time. It's also great to be back at a place that doesn't charge for bread and butter!! On top of that, the ambiance is awesome and proves to be a great experience.what the crab is my new go-to place for seafood dishes. We got the oyster shooters which didn't taste like cocktail sauce but a Bloody Mary, pasta dishes with bay scallops, clams and lobsters. Everything was delicious
What an amazing meal! We made sure to make a reservation and it was good thinking, they were packed. Amazing service right from the get-go. We skipped alcohol tonight but they have good iced tea. We started with grilled octopus and grilled squid - both were absolutely excellent. Then we had more Oysters .The Oysters was absolutely delicious and perfectly cooked. Just the right amount of flavor and had pieces mixed in with it. All together can't wait to return and enjoy the atmosphere of green street again.
Had the best time here celebrating a birthday and engagement. We came from NY and wanted a nice restaurant with good food and a view, and that was exactly what we got. The oysters are priced at only $1.05 which is unheard of and they tasted amazing! Not only was the food great but our waitress Sophie was SO sweet! When she found out we were celebrating two occasions she offered to take pictures for us and even brought us out a complimentary dessert. We were so happy with the service and memorable experience, we will definitely return. Highly recommend and ask for Sophie!
I have heard many good things about What the crab. So finally I made it to the restaurant today. I ordered their famous oysters. Yes it is the "Best". The entire dish is so fresh and the crab is sweet which means it is very fresh! The broth was so delicious that I literally drank it. Dipping the bread into the broth is the best way to go. I highly recommend this restaurant. I actually might come back again before I head back to Texas in a couple of days !!!
The food was overpriced and not very good! I ordered the calamari, fried green tomatoes, fried catfish platter, fried oyster platter(no fries) substitute for red beans and rice, and the #1 Combo Boiled seafood bag. Now, I never did receive my fried green tomatoes, and when I asked my waitress about it, she told me that she had forgotten to tell me that they didn't have anymore. My red beans and rice were too peppery. It's like they over seasoned it with black pepper. My catfish was over fried, and my oysters tasted as if they were not properly cleaned before cooking. The calamari was okay, and the #1 Combo boiled seafood bag was okay, but I've had better. Yes, I did order a lot of food, but my ticket price definitely did not reflect the quality of food I received.
I give this place 5 stars. They were closed and in the middle of development during the pandemic. Well they opened with a bang. This was the best Mango Margarita I have ever had. I also got a few things to go to try at home. Such good flavors......YUM YUM YUMMMMMM?. Portion size is really good and for the shrimp boil the shrimp were thoroughly cleaned and headless. I will definitely be back!
Food was good, went with 5 and was pretty pricey... mu daughter and I ordered a meal together and I asked for a extra pound of crab on the side with garlic butter and basically was no better. That was the only hick up really. We also ordered the appetites of garlic noodles (amazing) and onion peel fries (batter I'm amazing and not to heavy), I asked for a size salad. Order 6 oysters baked (not to bad) It was a good portion. My son ordered butterfly fried shrimp and it came with outs of yummy fries. My husband ordered chicken and fries (he don't care for crab) much oldest ordered the smaller order of a hay me and my youngest ordered and really we 3 could of shared half pound shrimp (they are hugh) got extra crab and sides..over all pretty good. They do.charge Gratuity for groups of 5 or more. It is on the meau a fee times so not hidden fee. Also have full bar!
This place will shut down King Crab. As a person who only comes to these places because my family likes seafood this place had much better options for non fish eaters. There garlic butter noodles are great. Cajun onion petals, chicken platter. I am constantly trying to teach myself to like seafood so I ordered the catfish, shrimp and chicken platter. I was pleasantly surprised by being able to eat all three with no fishyness. Great batters. All the shrimp were deveined for free no $2 to cut off the head charge.
