Tried this place a few months back as recommended by a foodie friend. Truly one of best sushi places in DFW. We got the love boat and it was truly fabulous. (Forgot to take picture)Order that if you are a company of at least two diners.It is a bit far but I would love to come back.Their menu is large and the service was friendly.Their decor didn’t impress me but hey I was there for the food.

The food is good but ever since they upgraded to a bigger store front, the service quality went down. There are 2 waitresses that are always so phenomenal though. The food quality never changed which is what keeps me coming back, but the service makes me have to plan around when I go. I don't want to go during a dinner rush because it takes a long time to get your order. So I usually order take out to compensate. This is all pre-pandemic too. I know that the pandemic has hit a lot of restaurants hard, and I know they, like most places, are dealing with a staff shortage. But this was going on before then and I will only base my experience on that time frame as many places are trying to find a new normal.
If you are in Mansfield, TX, the place to enjoy sushi is definitely Suzushii Sushi & Grill. My wife and I come here to enjoy the Love Boat for 2 at least once a month and often times twice a month. It's more than enough variety and quantity to fill both of us up and it comes with two bowls of miso soup and two bowls of salad. The staff is always friendly and they always have enough servers on hand that you never have to wait long to get a drink refilled or to order another beverage from the bar. I highly recommend this establishment if you are in the mood for some amazing sushi. They of course have other menu items, which are just as delicious, but we are huge sushi fans so that's pretty much what we order when we go.
Very busy place! Lunch specials are plentiful and looked really good and the prices are reasonable.It seemed my order got lost though. My companion was served timely like the rest of the guests in the restaurant appeared to be. My soup came but after 30 minutes my sushi was still not served. So I just asked the server to make it to-go. She agreed and about five or so minutes later the chef delivered the sushi to our table apologizing for the delay. I thanked him and asked for a box because we had to go. Sushi travels well so I ate it later with no disappointment. The food was good and so fresh. Will definitely try it again.
I'm gonna keep this one short, Suzushi is my home.It's good for any occasion.Service is pretty much bullet proof, food is perfect, sushi is always fresh here.I've been going for like... Six or seven years? It's good, always has been, go grab a bite to eat there. Literally don't even have anything to say, it's just good.I take it as a consistent choice over most places, if you want good Asian food, Suzushi is your place.
Food is decent, but their prices have gotten pretty high for everything. And they charge you for EVERYTHING, I'm surprised there isn't a charge for soy sauce here. I ordered water and was asked if I wanted lemon, which I said yes. I got a small little sliver of a lemon and asked for more. When I got the bill I was charged $1 for lemons even though there was no mention of an upcharge for something that was offered when I ordered my drink. We will not be going back.
We have been regulars for years and the #1 reason is that they consistantly provide great food. Since the pandemic, we have solely relied on take-out and this is one of the few places that makes the take-out experience every bit as good as when dining in. I've even made some "I don't eat sushi" people into fans of this restaurant because there is so much more than sushi on the menu. My husband and I are big lunch eaters- meaning that is our largest meal of the day. This works well for us because that's when the Bento boxes are available. Those provide more food for the money, and it's all very good with the exception the salad- I don't care for the dressing. Hubby eats his though. We are not fans of spicy foods so have tried almost everything on the menu that is NOT spicy, and I haven't found anything that I felt was sub-par (except the salad and that's just my personal aversion to the strong ginger). Nobody around here does Tempura as well as Suzushi does. Every piece of sushi is freshly made with quality ingredients and they accomodate all requests. Want extra sauce or your sauce on the side? Just ask! Prefer the house soup over miso soup? No problem. If you've never been here, it's worth a little added effort to visit.
Been here on two occasions and to be fair the food was good. The service suffered from lack of staff in the evening time. Didnt get our water to start until about 15 min in. Had to ask for our cocktails that we ordered. They just need to adequately staff and this place would be great
Well looks like past experiences were great for some. But now now I can't get an order.. tells you to hold and hang up.. call back and no answer.. When they do better, I will greatly update review.
