We've been driving out of way many times to try different sushi places and find one we really liked, but we had not had the chance to try Sushi Gio before. We did tonight for the first time, and we were pleasantly surprised. The search is over, and we have found our favorite sushi place. We tried different items and each was delicious, my favorites were the paradise roll, the veggie and shrimp tempura, and the Yaki udon Noodle. 10/10 would recommend for several reasons: the food was just exquisite and fresh; the service was awesome, even though they were busy; and the ambiance was very authentic. Overall a very exceptional experience :)

Good local spot for sushi! Sushi was yummy and sashimi was fresh. I enjoyed everything but the tempura crab. The tempura crust was so so and crab itself tasted bitter and mushy. They have a few limited tables to seat parties of four and less. Service was slow but forgivable since the server was multitasking.

My family and I have been going to Sushi Gio since they opened. The owners are very friendly and are always accommodating. On our last visit my 8 year old daughter wasn’t feeling well (car sick) but she wanted to stop by and eat there. The chef and his son Jim were very kind and tried to make my daughter feel better and offered her a kid’s Japanese drink. My daughter felt better, ate her favorite shrimp tempura and dumplings and was a happy kid after. Overall, I highly recommend Sushi Gio not only because they have great food but also because they are great owners. They will go above and beyond for their customers. They care about their customers!

We have never dined in, but have ordered for pick up many times for dinners. The fish is always fresh tasting, and the rolls are wonderful even after being packed up and brought home (about 15 minutes away). The service is always polite, and they always get done earlier than the estimated time when we let them know that we are in a time crunch. They are honest about their recommendations while still showing respect for the customer's opinions. So glad to have them nearby!

Interior is so cute, only 3 booths and a sushi bar. Gyoza was excellent. Sushi is priced well and was all really good. And there is really something on the menu for everyone. Service was very friendly and helpful.

Great service & delicious food here! After reading the reviews decided to give it a try. So glad I did, & will definitely be back again! Try the Avocado Bomb for a appetizer, you will love it. I had the Ahi Tower, my hubby had the Bento box, both were very fresh & tasty.Very clean, low key, small establishment.

The cutest sushi place I’ve been to! You can definitely taste the authenticity. The service was great and it was very clean. I definitely recommend this place.

The interior looks inviting. The walls have Japanese art. A TV on the back wall showing a Japanese series. The background music is Japanese pop on low volume. The place has only 15 seats, but tastefully decorated. We must re-visit for a dine-in.We ordered take-out. Vegetable tempura for appetizer. Delicious. We ate it so fast, I forgot to take a photo of it! For the main course, we had a Fire Roll and a Salmon Torched Roll. Look at their menu to see what they are. We love salmon. Everything was fresh and delicious. The chef makes everything fresh. A delayed delivery can ruin the freshness for you.I liked Sushi Gio. My photos don’t do justice to the dishes. Presentation is fundamental to Japanese cuisine. We are coming back. Then I can post photos of their dishes in a proper context.

Fresh, high quality and some unique dishes really make this sushi restaurant stand out. It was so good in fact, all of the food was gone before pictures could be taken. Best take out order this year. You made my birthday extra special, thank you Sushi Gio!

We originally heard about Sushi Gio from a friend and decided to try it out. My family ordered the calamari roll, cajun roll, rainbow roll, and chicken fried rice. The sushi was AMAZING and so was the fried rice. Everything’s at a great price. All of the sushi was super fresh, especially the fish on the rainbow roll. For dessert, we got the green tea tempura ice cream, which was also delicious. Sushi Gio is the best sushi place in Mansfield by far and definitely beats Suzushii and Akarii. This is now our family’s favorite place!
