Stopped in here this morning on my way through. My child has a mask but i do not due to a medical/mental health issue I try to wear them as little as possible. I was standing back from the counter near the door trying to be courteous and was allowing my masked 10 year old to order. When promoted about my mask, I asked if they had one for me bc I generally don’t wear one and stated about the medical/mental health. She then proceeded to slap a mask down on the counter and proce

She then proceeded to slap a mask down on the counter and proceeded to ask me what my medical and mental health issue was in front of everyone. When I told her she responded with, well I’m pregnant and have to wear one everyday and I also have ptsd from domestic violence so...I replied with, look I asked you if y’all had masks and you asked me about my medical info which is illegal. I was rude and instead of throwing a fit I asked if y’all had masks...her response to that was, well I felt like you were being rude...I treated like this I front of my child and other customers...I chose to leave what seemed to be an already hostile situation. I can’t do business with a business that thinks it’s ok to speak to someone that asked right off the bay if they had a mask to help me comply. They have a sign on the door that says they sell them...it just saddens me to see people being this way to each other honestly. I never refused to wear one, just that I didn’t have one on me.
They no longer have their signature Sunshine Biscuits ? this is the only item that set them apart from the rest here in Mansfield. A tradition every payday morning with my kids during the school year. It is out of our way, but was definitely worth the drive for the biscuits. Will no longer need to continue to be a loyal customer.
